Lovely campground, close by Sandpoint, nice hosts, late checkout (2pm), hot showers.
Be on time, gate closes between 10pm and 7am
Beautiful. On the lake. Secluded in the forest. How is this place free?
For the locals… it’s like tubs hill and CDA lake but no people. Amazing.

They had just recently done overgrowth clearing for fire prevention and had only finished the large object cleanup. The ground in the campsite consisted mostly of burnt slash pile ash and branches that had yet to be cleared. Incredible views and right on the water
Nice place spacious spots. Our spot #40 had an incline we had to lower the front end of out trailer to its lowest point to get it level. Little road and train noise. No playground for kids. Though it had a great stream running next it kids were able to play in it could float down it also. Host was…

We had a great time. This park is not far from our home,so we have come here a handful of times. The park is clean, and well taken care of. We have a favorite spot. We hiked the Round Lake trail. It also was very well maintained.

This campground is well maintained. It’s close to water. They have a great educational shows put on by the park ranges,
Small campground with sites right on the lake. Gorgeous lake. Stunning views.
Me and my family libe spending the weekend's here in the summer. Need to book months ahead or get there early to get a spot.
The website is accurate: campsites are primitive, there is at least one boat ramp, there are two islands when the water is high, and there are several picnic tables scattered over the islands.
The boat ramp we took was more than a half mile from the island. The turn-off from the highway wasn’t…

But very busy in the summer. Well maintained paved camp area. Fishing, boat launch, swimming. Large meeting area. Camp host. Play areas.
I been through the area a couple times on quick trips,I always wanted to return and explore the area without knowing much about it and the people were very helpful. Yes they told us how to get to Ross Creek Cedars and Kootenai falls (go early), absolutely stunning! I also found Libby Dam, we sat…
Lovely campground with good trees and privacy between sites. We stayed here end August 2029 in site 111 in the snowberry loop. There are good hikes in the campground but they don’t all connect to each other. Nicest one that I did was the one along the lake- beautiful views.
This is my family’s favorite Campground. Lots of fun activities and trails, easy access bathrooms with nice showers. The water is beautiful and the beach is taken great care of. Very calming and the different campsites are separated by lots of beautiful trees. Highly recommend but reserve your spot…
Swung by here yesterday (late Dec) after calling to confirm hookups were still functional. There was only one hookup spot plowed, and it’s connectivity was not stable. We decided not to stay as our Tesla kept reporting electrical risk every 10 minutes. Not worth the risk to car camp when it’s 18…
This campground sits on the Bull River as it enters the Cabinet Gorge Reservoir. We were there in mid-September 2019. The fresh water spigot was still on and no one else camped there. We were in site #17 with a water view near the loop turn around. It is, iirc, a short loop so a truck/trailer may…
