    A free spot

We stopped here on our way out of Montana (our home state). A winter storm rolled in and made the pass impassable. This is a FREE RV park with electric hookups…no water, cable, or dumping station, but again, FREE. The snow was hitting hard and having electricity was a lifesaver. There is a really good restaurant and bar here as well as a truck stop and gas station. We have a Class A and the spots were plenty big. Lots of dog walking areas too. Perfect in an emergency and great for a short stay. No long terms and is first come first serve.

On a hill overlooking the river

There is a Motel, Casino, Lounge. Dining, Bowling AND an RV Park here. Unfortunately, due worker shortage. most were closed. But, a small herd of deer welcomed us at the entrance. That was cool.. The RV park is up the hill to the left of everything else. Once in the RV section, you don't see the other part. There are several seasonal sites, but also travelors. It is not a fancy place, but a nice place. The bathhouse was super clean. The sites were easy in and out. Most sites do have a view of the mountains. Full hookups. Close to Thompson Falls. There is a new brewery in town. Definitely check it out. If you play golf, there is hidden gem not far away. River Bend Gold Course. We played. It is really a pretty, well maintained course. There's a dam, public boat launch, a nice park and playground and a good grocery store. Hot Springs are about 30 min. away.

    Wallace RV Park

    Very accommodating & clean

With many of the campgrounds being closed this time of year we felt very lucky to find Wallace RV park. We called ahead to another campground that had beautiful pictures but upon arriving the place was a total dump. We continued on and found Wallace RV Park. The water had been shut off for the season already but we were able to hook up to electric which is all we needed since the skies had been overcast for the past 3 days and we desperately needed to recharge our batteries. Upon arriving, we were the only one at the park. There is a very quaint brew pub on the campground that had a very nice selection of draft beers and a good sandwich menu. We would definitely stay here again!

    Whitefish-Kalispell North KOA

    Conveniently located in Whitefish MT.

Wonderful little campground located just south of Whitefish Montana on highway 93. This KOA has a lot to offer from cabins to RV parking and several tent camping locations. Just a few minutes drive north and you will enter the small ski town of Whitefish Montana. Plenty of places to eat, shop or buy your groceries. During the summer months be sure to visit Whitefish Lake. 20 minute drive east and you will arrive in West Glacier Park. This RV park is located in a wooded area and is very family friendly with a local pizzeria on site.

    Nice.

Great spot to find at the end of a long drive day. Just the kind of Rv spot for Montana. Trees & stars in big sky country. The layout was nice with lots of spots to choose from. The fall colors were great. The wifi was spotty from the far spot we got other then that perfect RV camp site. Also price was good.

What more could you ask for?

This campground is a Good Sams CG. I agree with the previous reviewer in that it does remind me of a KOA. There are different levels. Premium sites. Standard sites. W/E sites. There are cabins. I nice camp store. Laundry room. Nice clean restrooms with showers. And. Really nice owners.

The area is beautiful, set in the mountains. The Clark Fork River running nearby. Hiking. St Regis is nearby for provisions and they tour having the best huckleberry shakes in MT.

    Loved it

One of very few sites in the area that is not an RV Park (RVs are still welcome). Nice size spots, not on top of each other. The camp hosts are wonderful people! Bathrooms are clean and well maintained, water is available. Very pretty spot, the only thing that would make it better is access to water. This site is great for access to the Hiawatha Trail.

    Beautiful area.

First. I have to say, if you can, visit when the Flathead Lake Cherries are in season. Omg! The BEST cherries I have ever had. Exiting at St. Regis, I had to stop to get. I think I ate an entire pint before I even got to the campground. Lol. Anyway, as others have said, this CG is really beautiful. Tucked into the woods, the area is very well maintained. Really nice and helpful staff. Level and spacious sites. Clean restrooms. Pool (not open when I visited). Firewood for sale, but due to summer wildfires, most of the state was under a burn ban, so not campfires. Good Sam's discounts. AT&T Service was decent.

    Great Stay, Wonderful Managers.

Our family had a great one night stay. It was very last minute but they had a tent spot available. They do have around fifteen RV spots a few small cabins, and a handful of tent spots. The tent spots are around the perimeter of a gazebo that had electric hookup. They have four total restrooms, two of those have showers, and they have a laundry facility available as well. Everything was clean and we'll kept! Planning on staying again!

RV Park and Casino-don’t shy away

I was a bit apprehensive when the sign read, “RV park, casino” (restaurant, motel).....but! This place is nice. Sites are close, so prepare to be friendly. Highway is close by as well, so you will hear some traffic noise. A train occasionally runs slowly across the river. Campground nicley maintained. But, the lawnmower is out there everyday!!! Loud and unneeded. Shower and Laundry available. Nice quiet road to walk pets. And beautiful view of river and mountainside.

Trout Creek Motel & RV Park

    Rude and condescending

We didnt stay here as when we arrived at 9 pm, the office area and road to get to rv park were way to tight for our 40 ft fight wheel. When calling to let them know, no one answered the phone or returned our calls for two days. I finally was called back by a man that was so condescending and rude I could hardly believe he would talk to me like he did. I he pretty much called me a liar. My husband and I have been in 34 states in the last 2 years full time RV so we know to not get ourselves in a spot that we cant get out of. Lack of experience is not the case here.

    Wallace RV Park

RV park, brewery and restaurant. Oh my!

What a fun place. Yes. It is right on the road. Yes, there are ATVs driving by. However, the fun we experienced during our 4 days there, far overshadowed those little things. First, an RV park AND Brewery AND restaurant! What? That's right! You heard me. And it's really really good beer and food. Now, as if that wasn't enough, you can walk to the cutest downtown without of amazing history. it's also the center of the universe. It's true. Look it up. There's also a medallion in the road proving it. More breweries. Great food. Do you know what a Pulaski is? Check out the Pulaski Trail. You will be amazed. The Trail of the Coeur d'Alene goes through town. Also, the Trail of the Hiawatha is just down the road. One of the most memorable experiences for all age groups and abilities. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

    Albert's Landing

    Beautiful campground

We stayed at Albert's Landing towards the end of the season in mid-October. We arrived late at night and the campground host met us at the entrance to show us to our site, which was super helpful. The next morning we woke up to find ourselves in a beautiful clearing surrounded by hills and forest. We caught some great fall colors and the river right below the campground provided great entertainment for the small kiddos. It was too chilly to go in the water but throwing stones kept everyone very happy. There is a little store at the entrance and both people running the campground and store were super friendly. The amenities were good: nice picnic tables, spacious level sites, and easy hookups. We highly recommend this place, especially in off season when it's quieter and you might even get the whole place to yourself like we did : )

    Beautiful

A beautiful small privately owned campground in the heart of Wallace Idaho. Right next to the city limits brew pub. Awful hook up sites, all very level sites! We did not have reservations and although the park was pretty full they were very accommodating and letting us use one of the smaller sites for our RV. The staff is incredible and the sound of the river is wonderful! Has good Wi-Fi especially if you’re sitting on the deck, and the water pressure is amazing. I would highly recommend it! If you happen to be in the area of Wallace this is a great stop.

Easy access, neat mine, full hook ups

We did the mine tour two years ago and we’re happy to do it again. We noted back then we should return and try the rv sites one day & we did! The kids did some gem panning and found some gold specks. A neat insight into the mining that was so prevalent in these parts. Full hookups all worked great. Huge huge site with a brand brew picnic table and nice fire ring. Nice & small campground overall

    Wallace RV Park

    Tidy, well maintained.

Alright campground, quite a few spots for a small town. Full hookups $45, bit expensive however this includes showers and toilets free. Very peaceful next to the river.

Looks to be a good pub, power and water no issues.

    Rimrock Lodge RV Park

    Nice proximity to trails

A really odd hillbilly-esque campground. Some of the sites were awkwardly laid out which seemed to confuse quite a few people. Full hookups were nice and so was the proximity to town and the trail system. There’s also a bowling alley and restaurant on site. Limberlost Brewing is a must stop.

    Wallace RV Park

    Great place for any camping!

This site provides everything you’ll need. It can support both tent and RV camping. The sight also provides showers for long stays. The site is right next to town as well, so you can walk there to spend your time. The only problem I found with it is the stream being noisy in the morning, but this could be relaxing for some people.

    Crystal Gold Mine

    Entertaining and educational spot

This little camping spot off of interstate 90 is perfect for all ages. A couple of dozen small pull in, and pull- through, sites that have full hookups and tire rim fire pits. A bit of shade and a bit of noise from the interstate.

But…. there 40 minutes tour of the mine is awesome!! And, it comes with an opportunity to pan for gold and gems.

Don’t count on striking it rich with gold but you will certainly leave entertained and with a great bit of mining education!
