    Liberty Lake Regional Park

    Quiet park close to Spokane

We spent 3 weeks at Liberty Lake Regional Park while visiting our son and grandkids in Spokane. The road in is a little narrow, but once in, it’s a great little campground. Most of the sites are fairly level. We stayed at 2 different sites over 3 weeks, and both were level. They are close together! They provide a fire pit if you want one. Picnic table, water and electric. The dump station is quite a drive, back out, up the hill. There is a clean shower/bathroom building and a beach within walking distance of the campground. While we were there the campground hosts did a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and tidy. Several hiking trails, including an equestrian trail, waterfall, fishing and lots of wildlife. There were deer in the campground every day, we saw moose, owls, pilated woodpecker, and hawks. We were there over July 4th weekend and they had a fireworks display on the beach.

    McKay's Bend Recreation Site

So good you’ll want to stay longer

DIRECTIONS: 18 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho at mile post 18.6 on U.S. Highway 12

Flat, quiet, clean, and cheap. 15 RV sites and 3 tent sites. Full hookup, clean and large shower rooms and restrooms.

Camp hosts are great caretakers and quick to greet new guests.

Plenty of trees for shade, easy drivable path down to the river, nice local neighborhood to stroll through. BBQ stands at each site and two large community fire pits. Paved site for RV (any size), concrete pad with table. 2 bars cell signal.

Check the pics for accepted passes that drop the prices by 1/2.

At 18 dollars I was skeptical before l arrived. Getting everything for 9 dollars is unbelievable but true.

    Hells Canyon Resort

    Right on the river

Campground right on the river and surrounded by businesses but no noise issues.

Pull through site was paved and level. You do need a water pressure regulator. Office does suggest the route to take for easier pull in. Some of the long term campers have multiple cars and large add-ons, so was tricky getting out.

Showers were nice and plenty of room. Sign on indoor pool stated it was closed.

Check in was easy, they do offer food items for sale but the beverage coolers were pretty sparse.

Premier RV Resort at Granite Lake

    Nice Weekend Stay

Very friendly staff that keeps the facilities clean. Full hookups with lots of pull through spaces if needed. We fully utilized the bike path along the river each day for nice long rides into Idaho and back to Washington. Would stay again.

Premier RV Resort at Granite Lake

Quiet, Clean, well maintained RV Campground

This is an all paved rv campground on the Snake River and bordering Lewiston, ID. It has all the amenities of the Premier RV Resort affiliation. It has all the hook-ups and all sites are well manicured. A lot of the sites have longer term rv's from seasonal workers and such, it is not like a long term trailer park though. The management works to make sure your needs are taken care of. There is a paved walking trail alongside the park that follows the river with pet statiions located at intervals and is maitained by the municipality. There are Snake river boat tours nearby and plenty of shopping close and throughout the community. Fishing is a big activity on the rivers.

    City of Bovill RV Park

Looking for a all season RV Park? This is your spot! Bring the marshmallows too!

This is an all season RV Park. There’s a nice patch of grass in the center during warm months.

Sometimes we have a hard time finding all season parks.

They do allow pets! They have all the amenities you hope a RV Park has. We came up here to gem hunt. But I know other forms of hunting are also popular here 😉.

You also don’t loose the camping feels here. How? Fire rings.

Camping is just not the same without the ability to have a fire. Even when camping in an RV for local attractions over the “camping experience” it’s always a HUGE plus (to me anyways) to be able to watch flames for a few hours while having a few drinks.

Also visit the Pie Safe! You won’t regret it.

    Camp Coeur D Alene

    Great family friendly spot

Pros Good flat spots Easy access Water and electric in convenient places Pretty Free firewood Free showers!! Like hot showers. With space to move around. In case, say you’ve been in a small trailer for weeks with your kids, you might like to just have a few minutes to yourself. Hypothetically. Off the road so less worry about traffic. Close to town. Laundry. Decent WiFi Cell service on Verizon Also hot showers.

Cons Not fancy A little hilly

    Bull Run Access Dispersed

    Buggy but Beautiful

We were able to get our fifth wheel (40ft long, 13 1/2 ft tall) in and out easy! Lots of spaces and places to turn around. After crossing the bike path, take the first right onto the dirt road at the sportsmans access sign (parallel to the small paved parking lot.) Like another said, the best spot is past the first circular area. Keep going down the road and you’ll see a big shady area in the trees. (You can go further along to two more sites more suited for smaller pop-up campers, tents, or vans.) Close to the water so of course, there were some bugs: lots of bees and mosquitoes.

    Winchester Lake State Park Campground

    Great Park, Great Fishing

We pulled our 40ft RV up here and had a great time! Not full hookups but lots of fishing we caught: blue gill, trout, bass, crappie, perch, cat fish and had a small Tiger Muskie on the line but lost it. We were there for two weeks and they did have electricity and water hookups just no dump so we showered and used the bathroom facilities which were very well kept! So we didn’t mind. There is a dump station just in town at the gas station there. Overall great experience and nice to be off the grid for a bit!
