You'll love this place unless there's something wrong with you.

Albert is a very kind, chill and accommodating host. My only regret is I couldn't stay long enough to listen to his guitar skills. A gost that with stum hos guitar for his guests? Thats a good enough reason to go see the place and what made me pick it out from all the others. His prices are very reasonable too. We won't rake you over the coals if you forget something. The place can be really busy on a hot Saturday and he runs it well shuttling people around. i loved that there were clean bathrooms and showers and a general store incase you forgot or ran out of something. I also enjoyed the cool old iron bridge and the peace and quiet of the place. It's no party zone where teenagers have keggars. I was there on a Friday and by 10pm it was quiet and peaceful then the next morning everyone showed up to have swim or float the river there and the water looked nice a shallow and slow perfect for small children and for kayakers it gets a little faster on the other side and fast enough to not have to worry too much about your kids drown but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't pay attention.

Just plain wonderful.

On a return trip from MT to home (Long Beach Peninsula, WA) we were having difficulties finding an open campground as it seemed most were still closed for winter. I came across Albert’s Landing and noticed that they were scheduled to open the day after we needed to camp. I sent an inquiry to them asking about the chance to let us camp the day before they opened. I got a really nice reply from owner Allen offering us a place to camp at their place. Two days later we pulled into Albert’s Landing and met Allen who was waiting for us. After unlocking the gate we set up camp right next to their frontage on the Coeur d’Alene River. Beautiful scenery and site. Very clean. Beautiful surroundings, top of the line picnic tables and fire rings. New bathroom building. In fact everything looked either new, or well maintained. You can definitely see their pride of ownership, which is well deserved. Did we luck out finding this gem, and look forward to staying there again whenever in that area. A big thank you to Allen for his hospitality and generosity. It was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful campground

We stayed at Albert's Landing towards the end of the season in mid-October. We arrived late at night and the campground host met us at the entrance to show us to our site, which was super helpful. The next morning we woke up to find ourselves in a beautiful clearing surrounded by hills and forest. We caught some great fall colors and the river right below the campground provided great entertainment for the small kiddos. It was too chilly to go in the water but throwing stones kept everyone very happy. There is a little store at the entrance and both people running the campground and store were super friendly. The amenities were good: nice picnic tables, spacious level sites, and easy hookups. We highly recommend this place, especially in off season when it's quieter and you might even get the whole place to yourself like we did : )

Clean Riverside Campground in Beautiful Northern Idaho

Albert’s Landing is a privately-owned RV campground on the North Fork of the CDA River. All sites offer water and electric hookups and some sites have sewer as well. There’s a camp store and shuttle service for floating the river.

There’s plenty to do when camping at Albert’s Landing. In the summer you can float the river and explore the nearby National Forests. Make sure to visit the historic Snake Pit restaurant and bar down the road. Great atmosphere and good food.

Drive north on the CDA River Road and you’ll find the historic mining town of Murray. Stop off at the Pritchard Tavern on your way back. It’s an historic tavern in the middle of nowhere.

The only drawback to camping at Albert’s Landing is that it gets crowded in the summer. It can get a little noisy too. But if you’re interested in a float down the river and seeing the historic sites of the Idaho Panhandle Albert’s is a great pick.

Clean, Friendly, Well Maintained RV Campground on the CDA River

Albert's Landing is a clean, well managed RV campground on the shores of the North Fork of the CDA River near Cataldo, Idaho.

The campground offers 60+ sites with water & 30\50 amp service, level gravel pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. There is nearly 1000' of river frontage, a camp store, and a river float shuttle. However, the campground does not currently have a septic dump, trash facilities, or showers, Those services will be available soon though.

The North Fork of the CDA River is a popular destination for river floating, fishing, and off road recreational activities.

Down the road from the campground is the historic Snake Pit restaurant. Highly recommend stopping in for their great food, atmosphere, and colorful history.

If you're planning to visit the North Fork of the CDA River, I highly recommend Albert's Landing.

We have always had trash facilities, but we keep the trash dump receptacle location near the store. We also recently completed a restroom/shower/laundry facility for our guests. These are nice, new and very clean. Due to Idaho State septic requirements, we will never have a dump station, but there is one 2 miles away at Interstate 90.
