Join us at Arrowhead Point, a quiet, secluded park on the edge of the Ozarks. With over 35 level, full-hookup, pull-through sites with a mix of sun and shade, there are sites to fit almost everyone's needs. In addition, Arrowhead Point has cabins available for weekend getaways or vacations. The two clubhouses (Sho-Me MO and Texas) are also located on the property for special occasions or just to have a cup of coffee! These clubhouses have fully-equipped kitchens, restrooms with showers, tables, and chairs. The TX clubhouse has a pool table and the laundry facility entry is on the back porch of the MO clubhouse). These clubhouses can be reserved for larger groups or special events including but not limited to wedding receptions, parties, retirements, game nights, movie nights, etc. Hang out at your RV site, take a walk in the woods, or stop by one of the clubhouses for a game of cards or pool. Do some fishing from our catch-and-release pond or relax on the porch and watch the hummers. Some weekends, we have special events. Stayed at Side Track RV Park many time and my family and friends keep coming back. The location is as good as it gets and the community building is great entertainment when not at the track or watching boat races. Best of all is the sites are full hook ups, so no full sewer tanks when you get home! 5 stars all the way!!!

This isn't our typical "go to" type campground; we stopped here because we were having some trouble with our truck and needed to have it looked over before heading out further west. The RV park is really close to downtown Independence, Missouri and has everything we needed for the night. It's within walking distance of everything in town, has full hook-ups, wifi, bathrooms, and a laundry facility.
It is what you might expect for an RV park so close to downtown, a little lacking in outdoor aesthetics. But, the bathrooms were clean, the showers very hot, and the laundry room was tidy! Also, the manager was super nice and accommodating.
Independence has some cool stuff to check out and has a very midwestern, small-town feel to it, even though it is basically a suburb of the greater Kansas City area. There is a lot of charm and some interesting architecture in the immediate area. The Truman Library, the Community of Christ Church, the downtown theater and court house are all interesting and worth a look. We had some time to kill and made the rounds to these various places. If the weather would have been warmer, it would have been a very bikeable area, too.

We’re from Kansas City and there are very few options when it comes to Campgrounds. This is by far our favorite and their rates are very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay, staff was very friendly and the park was clean and easy to get in and out of. You’re also very close to Hillsdale State Park, but this location has a tornado shelter 🤣

Full hook-ups and a bath/shower house (which doubles as a storm shelter). 2 ponds on the property and a community picnic shelter. 15 RV spots that are graveled with a fire ring and picnic table at each. Close to a small convenient store and fuel station. (1/4 mile to the east) Close to Hillsdale Lake for swimming and boating. Horseshoe pits. Gated community at night (owners give you code if you leave and come back at night) Aaron and Cindy Bien are the owners and are great people!!

Not all sites are full hook-ups. They also have a tent area. Good cell service for Verizon, no wi-fi, and television reception is very slim. It is only a mile to Powell Botanical Gardens (campsite is not related to the gardens. They are working on upgrading the sites that do not have full hookups.

This park is privately owned. It has a very nice in ground pool along with a storm shelter which gives piece of mind in crazy Missouri weather. Shade seems to be scarce at a lot of the sites (all are full hook up I believe). They have what seems to be quite a few full time campers living here. Hard to get through on phone lines to book and no online booking options but overall a very clean campground with friendly owners.

From the moment we pulled into Bucksaw campground we knew we were in for a great weekend... minus the large group that had gathered and the drunks who tried to help me back in.
Most sites are shaded and offer electric... most in the B loop have water and there are some full hook ups around.
Campsites are very spacious and everyone was very nice. The camp host even came around and offered everyone suckers.
There is a very nice beach and a short walking trail. I wish the trail went down to the lake.
We definitely will be coming back.

Level sites with full hookups. 30,50 amp, water, sewer on every site. Owners are really nice, and keep everything well maintained. Nice small catch and release pond. Has 2 club houses with large grills and 3 cabins also. Had a very nice quiet relaxing weekend.
LegendLongview campground is not only peaceful and quiet but also in a very pretty area filled with wildlife. There is an attendant and security arms when entering the campground and requires a key code to enter. There are over 100 sites with tent, electric, and full hook ups. The campgrounds are open from April-end of September with prices from $21-33.
There are fire grills and picnic benches at each site and the sites are level on gravel. There is a playground, volleyball net, restrooms and showers. There are 6 picnic shelters with bathrooms scattered on the way to the marina. The lake is beautiful but is not within walking distance from the campground.
We stayed from a Saturday night until Thursday. There weren’t a lot of campers so it was nice and quiet. We saw deer running through the campgrounds and will stay again.
GuideWe stayed in a pull through spot with full hook ups for a week. They have spots for any size of rig. Relatively quiet with some road noise but a pretty view of the water. The shower houses were in good shape, but the shower doors were a little low to cover everything if someone else were to walk into the restroom. Laundry room is available if you request it be unlocked the night prior. We stayed in late October if you do the same just know you might see some people skinning deer in the middle of the campground.

Turkey Creek was a very nice campground for our month long stay. The park is well maintained and clean. It is very quiet! There is a train track nearby, but we only heard it a few times during our stay.
Amenities included full hook up, laundry room, bathrooms, showers and a fenced dog park where you 4 legged friends can enjoy some off-leash time. We had 4 bars with AT&T and waffled between 1-3 bars with Verizon.
The location is great for visiting local attractions such as Branson Landing, Silver Dollar City and Top of the Rock.
Really appreciate the park manager, she was friendly and brought an overpayment to our attention and quickly issued a refund.

I car camped here for one night early this spring and will definitely come here again. There was a big RV parked next to me, some other car campers, and then a group of tent campers. The sites are right on the lake and the vault toilet was clean. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring and they are spaced out nicely. There was a decent amount of traffic to and from the floating boat dock but it still wasn’t too noisy.

Truman Lake was flooded three years ago, since then Sparrowfoot has been completely updated with new water and 110V/30A/50A hook-ups. It seems since the updates many of the sites would be considered Family Sites as many are adjoined. We are at A21 which is fine, but very close to the next site. However, A19 has a better lakeview. Our host Ron and Karen drove by to chat and said they'd move us to A-19 (which is already reserved). We may take them up on it if it doesn't effect the other campers. There is a "Cozy Corner" RV Park just outside the entrance to supposedly get supplies; although sign said OPEN no one was there. So the Host gave us firewood free and we gathered plenty of driftwood for our fires. Walmart and town is just a few minutes away. At 12:30am I can hear distance hiway traffic. But the site is dead quiet on a Wednesday night too. We checked the showers and toilet s, they were clean and had just been hosed down. Fishing from our site is abou 200'. A19 is about 100'. As I write this I can hear the coyotes coming in. Water pressure is great, electrical is fine. Dump station is about 3 minutes away. The coyotes are getting close so I'm wrapping up to go inside. We are SUPER stoked to go fishing in the morning and check out the Dam and area shoppes. We will definitely be back, only 90 min. drive from KC area.

We offer a perspective on RV camping "off peak" (late fall and early spring). This KOA has a nice eastern exposure for morning sun, and lots of pull through sites. On the downside, if you're sensitive to nearby road noise, there's a lot of Jake Brakes on I-70 which, at least in the absence of tree foliage, is all over the park.

This has everything you want! Nice camp host! Swimming beach! Showers & nice toilets & a tent area and a RV area to separate it. Most tent and RV spots have shade!!! Tens have electic & It's CHEAP !! 20$ for electric tent & camper! They have water spouts at the tent area as well!! A walking path & a park and a huge dog park!!!!

TravelerLake Miola park in Paola, Ks. is a small, well kept, easy to access recreational area. All of the usual summer outdoor activities are supported, including swimming, boating, fishing, picnicking, and camping. There is a swimming beach with sand volleyball. The park is about 560 acres with a 200 acre lake. There is a dock at the campground for boat access to the campground. The campground offers several pull through sites that have full hookups. The rest are back-in with water and electricity. The sites are not very level, so bring leveling equipment! The rates are EXTREMELY affordable. First come, first served. Holidays will find the campground FULL. If you want to be there for a holiday, know that you are allowed to stay 14 consecutive days before you must take 5 day break. Fees are cheaper for city and Miami county residents.

Stopped here for an overnight on our way home to Georgia from Yellowstone. It’s ok for a 1-night stop. I wouldn’t stay more. The sites are level, with long pull-throughs, with full hookups. But there is no shade. Also no store. There is a grill/bar that serves dinner, drinks and appetizers. Pool, playground, dog park, stocked fishing pond, laundry. Bathroom/shower facilities were ok. Several text sites did have shade.
