Directions

This is Annette and Kenton Dittmer with Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse in rural Higginsville, Missouri. We are so excited to have you stay with us at the farm. Annette's cell number is 660.909.5573. Just to let you know it is very important that if you are traveling down I-70 to get to us, that you make sure and turn off on Exit 49. Please note your GPS may direct you to the wrong exit To get here take exit 49 off of I-70, go north on 13 Highway. You are now just 8 minutes away from us. The good news is you will be traveling on all highways, not gravel roads, to get to the farm. If you are coming on I-70 from the west please do not use your GPS it will take you on windy gravel roads, which is totally unnecessary. Pleas arrive before dusk! There is a Pilot gas station at Exit 49 if you need to fuel up. Continue on 13 Hwy north for 3 1/4 miles until you see MM Highway. Turn left or west on MM Hwy and go 3 miles. For the next 3/4 mile MM will turn to the south up and down a hill and again like a large S curve. Our home is at the top of the second curve. Look for a large older, 3 story, red brick home. There is also a clawfoot tub in the front yard that says Red Brick Farmhouse B & B. Pull straight up the driveway and stop at the entrance to the circle drive. Please stay on the gravel driveway. Just call when you arrive or knock on the back porch door and we will come out and guide you to your spot. Just call if you need anything. If you cannot reach me, my husband, Kenton's cell is 660.909.5493 Please let me know you received the directions to Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse and your ETA. We also have a restaurant in Higginsville, Red Shanty Cafe & BBQ, 2201 Highway 13, that you can dine in or carry out. There is an American Legion Parking Lot directly behind the restaurant for easier parking and a good turn around spot. Red Shanty Cafe is open Weds & Thurs, 11am - 8pm and Fri & Sat 11am - 9pm. Thank you, Annette and Kenton

Amazing!

Stayed 1 wonderful peaceful night. Electric hookups, water available & shower. Out in the country surrounded by corn fields. Owned by a lovely couple who reside on the property in their old farmhouse. Not far off of I70, but absolutely no road noise. A great place to stay after a long day of driving. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely place

We had a very pleasant time here in our RV. The hosts were very kind. The farm itself was clean and beautiful. And our dog loved the fresh air.

Amazing pit stop

We are just traveling through and got in super late. Annette and her husband were very accommodating and showed us to our spot and also where the toilets and showers were. We woke up in absolute paradise. The sunrise was amazing, and I’m sure the sunsets are equally as beautiful. We will definitely be back to stay on our way though again.

Great hosts!

The hosts here were extremely generous and very helpful when I arrived. They even had a camping agreement to sign (very professional).

The spots have plenty of space and the surrounding fields are really beautiful as the sun starts to go down.

It’s a great spot for an overnight stop.

Awesome, Picturesque Camp Site

Small, secluded camp sites on picturesque lawn surrounding 3story red brick farmhouse near Higginsville, MO. Two tent sites. Two or three small RV sites and one parked RV trailer available as a nightly rental. Bathroom with shower available. Water and electric available. Friendly and helpful hosts reside in the big house. There are places to eat nearby. Fire pit with comfortable chairs in corner of yard. Very pleasant stay. Relaxing for the soul.

Quiet and Beautiful

The best place we stayed on our East to West Coast trip by far. Quiet, exceptionally clean, well maintained. Outstanding hosts and they even own a great local BBQ restaurant! We will stay there again on the return trip.

Heaven on Earth

Stayed here on my way to Colorado and on the way home. A beautiful farm and property nestled in beautiful Higginsville Missouri. The owners are amazing people allowed me to use shower in the amazing 100 year old home. I’ll be stopping here any time I’m coming through the area. A ++

Idyllic

I would highly recommend this place. The hosts are lovely and accommodating. We came in with our small trailer, two kids and a dog. There was plenty of space for all of us and even a wonderful tire swing for the kids. We got to take a peek into their recently refurbished on site trailer which is great! I hope we get the chance to stop in again.
