Love their sites that back right up to Lake Superior.

It’s close to town plus your right on the lake with beautiful views

Nestled along the North shore of beautiful Lake Superior in the City of Two Harbors, Minnesota. You can rent kayaks, paddle boards or bicycles from local vendors or hike on our paved and unpaved City trail system as you explore the area. You can pick agates, go fishing, or boating or visit one of our local shops and museums. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Campground has bathrooms, shower facilities, and Wi-Fi.

A little close to hwy 61 so be prepared for road noise.

Very noisy from highway traffic. Sites are crammed as close together as possible. A constant flow of campers in and out. If it wasn’t for beautiful Lake Superior view and beach I would give it two stars.

Burlington Bay is one of the cleanest, most easily accessible campgrounds in Minnesota.

There are many waterfront sites and the beach is just a short walk from the grounds. There is an incredible trail that you can (and should!) use to walk into Two Harbors and grab a beer at Castle Danger.

The only downside is that it is VERY close to the freeway and you do get some car noise.

Busy but beautiful campground. Great location looking at Superior Lake. Bathrooms in the Burlington sites are not as nice as the newer campgrounds. Could use more cleaning.

Large campground on Lake Superior. Clean showers and located close to Two harbors.

First off, the location listed in The Dyrt is incorrect - this campground is on Lake Superior in Two Harbors MN. The lakeside sites are beautiful and ok space wise, but beware if your site is towards the middle of the park - they are super small and crowded. Sites near the road are very noisy. Luckily we had a site on the lake with gorgeous views of Superior. The park is well maintained, and the bathroom/shower building is clean. Would only return if a lakeside site was available.

We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Our campsite was on the hill in the David Dill addition. I appreciated the view of the bay without the tighter constraints of the original campground on the lake. The bathhouse was clean and well maintained plus it was key coded so no worries about unwelcome intruders while showering. Our neighbors were all incredibly friendly. Nice grass - nice picnic table. Perfect breeze made for a fantastic visit. We will plan another visit for certain. There is a full service gas station that you could easily walk to for those forgotten items. Two Harbors is great. Lou’s Fish House, Rustic Inn pies, Castle Danger beer. Such a cute fun area.

Spacious, beautiful overlook of Lake superior. The wind off the lake is chilly so bring layers. Firewood is $7, Firestarter are $5. Ppl very friendly and after 10 pm it is quiet. 10/10 would come again

Burlington Bay Campground was clean. The shower house by the playground was clean and new. The playground seemed fairly new and the kids loved playing on it. Walking on the beach lead to a nice City trail. The kids loved climbing all over the rock formations and finding new rocks. 

The sites are close together and small. We tent camped and the ground was super hard. I am glad I had my MSR Groundhog stakes since my other stakes would not have worked. My MSR Groundhog stakes took a beating getting them into the ground. 

The water from the site was good. Firewood at the campground is$6.00 a bundle and it is not well aged so it is a little hard to get going. The shop on site is nice and they stock quality items. 

I would stay there again, but in the off-season so the campground is not full of people.

Any time on the North Shore is a great time! A lot to do and see. Clean restrooms and showers. The sites are a little close and not much privacy, but the view is awesome.

The area is beautiful with a lot to see and do. The camp is clean and for very full this time of year with many campers enjoying the color change on the north shore. Would like a little more forest around me but for a convenient spot I would stay here again in the future. Very clean. As far as quiet you listen to the waves hitting the shore line. Bring a jacket if you plan to be next to the water.

Smaller campground located in two harbors.  Super nice personnel. Clean. Gravel sites with grass. The lake is right there.It shows $10 fee on the dyrt but it’s $46 including tax for an RV with the electric and water no sewer.

Very quiet area, and our site was overlooking the water, which offered an amazing view. Will definitely be returning here again.

This campground is adjacent to the Burlington Bay Campground. It has 3 rows of 11 sites meant for full hookup and big rigs. They are terraced so sites 24-34 are on the top while 1-12 are closest to the water and on the bottom of the hill.

This is specifically meant for big rigs. No shade and no privacy unless you are inside. What they do offer is great facilities and an amazing view! There is also a community feel here where everyone most likely talks to each other and knows each other by the end of their stay. At the bottom of the hill is the waterfront. You can do a lot from here.

You can rent for $45.00 per night or $276.00 per week. Sites are packed graves so they are level and easy in and out with your rig. Wouldn’t want to tent camp here. They have a nice shower house and dump stations as would be needed for big rigs. It is newer than the additional campground and still close to Lake Superior.

The campground is located in a very nice small town and the water sites are amazing for sunrise. The campground has all the amenities you need; Full hookups, water, dump station, fire rings, and picnic tables. Tent sites were the most numerous, but there were several RVs. We saw everything from big RVs to motorcycles here. Things were clean but it was a super packed when we were there. You can't sit outside without getting to know your neighbors inner secrets! 

The view and access to water is what would bring us back.

Sites are really close, but nice gravel pads. Prices are great. Beach is close and a really nice spot to relax. Lots of attractions nearby and within driving and walking distance.

The main reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the Hwy noise. Very close to the highway and you know it. They did try to give every site a glimpse of the lake though. There is a hand full of sites that have great views. We also did not like how close together some sites are to each other. Which brings me to our last point. The W/S & E are scattered and placement. Our sewer connection was close to the next sites outdoor rug, they could have covered it if they wanted. The same goes for the other side of us. Thankfully there was no one there, when we were there. We had site 86 in the beginning of June. All in all, YES we would go back.

For a couple car camping with a tent this place suited our needs. Conveniently located between split rock and Duluth it’s easy to explore the north shore from here. With that being said it’s a louder and camper heavy campground with very little privacy. The lake view is spectacular and all around I would recommend this place to anyone looking to camp somewhere convenient on the north shore.

The sites are small... very small. Barely fit my 21 foot trailer in because the turn was ridiculous to get in the site. The bathroom was in disrepair and we ended up not using it. The police roll through about every 2 hours for no good reason.

It is on Lake Superior and it does have water and electric for a decent price.

Nice size campground for Rvs and tents. Some sites have nice tree coverage some don’t. Some sites have fantastic views of the lake. I felt the campsites were a little on the small size. Bathrooms were clean. Nice playground for the kids and steps down to the lake to hike was nice.

If your objective is a daytrip or weekend trip to Two Harbors without dropping a lot of money for lodging, this is an adequate campground. There is a good new bathhouse facility, and the location of the campground is primo for exploring the Two Harbors area. However, the campsites are small, jampacked together, and open without trees. RVers will find the anrnities they need, but even for them I think they might find it a bit crowded. Not good for tent campers, no privacy, a lot of noise, and hard tent sites. Car camping might not be so bad if you really want to be in the Two Harbors area. Campground closes mid October to mid May.

I stayed there as a tent camper for three nights and it was a great campground to start my six months camping trip. The sites arent all in straight orders more chaotic just how i love it. I met the most lovely campers on my tour. I was invited for smores and bbq pies at one site, my other neighbors brought me fresh brewed coffee in the morning and i was given a special brewed beer from a german town after they heard i am german. I took really nice hikes alongside the shore and took some really nice pictures. The view at the lake was calming and relaxing.

This campground is a perfect “home base” for exploring Minnesota’s North Shore. The sites right on Lake Superior give you the opportunities to wake up ecery morning to a view of the lake as well as watching the big ships go to and from Two Harbors and Duluth. The campground is great for families- with a playground, beach and rock hunting along the shore. The sites are nice, and the campground and bathrooms are always clean. There are sites for almost every type of camping experience too.
