Best RV Parks & Resorts near Marshall, MI

Several RV parks near Marshall provide full hookup options for motorhome travelers. Camp Turkeyville RV Resort offers concrete patios at each spacious site with full hookups including 50-amp service, operating year-round with daily trash pickup at campsites. Harbor Cove RV Resort in Coldwater features pull-through sites with water, electric, and sewer connections, operating from May through October. Hidden Ridge RV Resort in Hopkins accommodates big rigs with concrete pads and full hookup sites overlooking a small lake. Moscow Maples RV Park in Horton provides 30-amp electric service with water and sewer hookups on sites open from May to mid-October. "Spacing was generous between locations. We had a drive-in location overlooking the small lake. There was some interstate noise but it was more of a steady hum and not an issue at all."

Throughout the region, RV parks vary considerably in site leveling and accessibility. Many campgrounds feature pull-through sites suitable for larger motorhomes, though some visitors report challenges with sloping gravel pads. According to one visitor at Pokagon State Park, "The gravel pad was surprisingly steep, with a good slope down on the camp side. It worked, but I do not feel the descriptions online fit the actual gravel pad." Dump stations are available at most parks, though locations can be inconvenient—some parks have oddly placed dump stations requiring wait times during busy periods. Cell service quality varies by provider, with Verizon generally reporting strong signals (20-22 Mbps) at most locations. Pet-friendly policies are common across the area's RV parks, though specific restrictions may apply regarding breed, size, and designated exercise areas.

    Holiday RV Campground

    Nice Park

Nice park for full timers. Large spots to accommodate big rigs and kids. Full hook ups. Cell service great with Verizon hotspot (22u, 20d, 38ms and AT&T cell(27d, 20u, 27ms). Playgrounds everywhere for the kids. Giant dog park and ponds. Pool was closed. Just needs more grass. Our spot was really patchy and resulted in a lot of mud.

Great campground with polite and helpful staff. Don’t pass this one up.

    Shipshewana North Park Campground

Nice campground in a convenient location

We were passing through and decided to stop for frozen custard at the stand right next to the campground. The first review for this place did not seem very inviting but a more recent one was a little more positive. After checking it out, I thought it could use a little reinforcement of the positives! I’m not sure if there have been new owners since the first review but I received a very friendly greeting, and the office is open from 9 am– 8 pm and clearly marked as the place to check-in.

There are many options here: back-in or pull-thru tent sites, w/e sites, full hook-up sites, camper cabins, and fully equipped cabins. The campsites range from $32-$46 per night and the cabins range from $69-$144 per night. Sites 47-52 are close to the road so you will hear road noise, but Sites 11-35 are farther from the road and are more shaded. The layout is RV park style but there is reasonable separation between the sites.

The restrooms have a code for entry, and I did not see the inside of these.

    Amenities include:

    - a community fire pit

    -  game room with television

    - guest laundry

    - dump station

    - gift shop

    - pet friendly options

     -WiFi

    - There is, of course, an ice cream/frozen custard stand that I dare you to resist.

While we would not consider it a destination, we would definitely consider camping here en route – the price is reasonable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

    Twin Mills Camping Resort

    Beautiful Wooded Campground

Twin Mills is a really beautiful and quiet RV Campground, with tall trees in Northern Indiana. We frequent this location when getting RV Repairs and visiting Elkhart, the birth place of most RVs.

There are cabins and tent sites and a large lake access point with a beach area. The playgrounds seemed to be in good shape and the dumpsters were centrally located.

The park has a gate entrance for security.

There is a large pool area and basketball court.

There are several sections in the park, some more wooded and narrow sites, some are more spread out.

Cellular: T-Mobile had good signal strength and bandwidth, AT&T was not as good but still doable.

Most of the sites are full hook up, some have 30amp and some have 50amp.

Amenities: Pool Clubhouse Basketball Volleyball Picnic tables Fire rings Trash Playground Lake access Beach area Dock Cabins Tent sites

    Ted Ranch Campground

No thrills, largely rustic, family oriented, friendly

This campground is pretty rustic with water and electricity at some sites, no showers or restrooms, a dump station for one at a time, Porta potties scattered around, small beach, small boat launch, mostly appears to be seasonal sites without sewer or rustic sites. Some but not a lot of shade, rolling fields being made into smaller sized sites. Dogs and dogs pens are allowed, and they do not appear to have parents who are attentive or keep them from barking. Friendly staff and family of four owners.

    Markin Glen County Park

    Modern Campground Close to Downtown

This is a modern campground with full hook-ups and cement parking areas. It is a newer campground, so there is not an old-growth canopy shading the sites. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. Some sites are pull-throughs. Tent camping is allowed, but most campers have RVs.

There is a bath house with good showers.

The park also has a lake with a beach, although I have never been in it.

This campground has a great location for people who want to visit Kalamazoo. One downside is that there are train tracks that run near the campground and sometimes the engines idle for extended periods at night.

    Oaks Campgrounds

    Nice for the Night

Friendly staff. Camp store in office. Pull through full hook up site. Seemed to be more of a permanent campground but everyone was friendly. The campground hosted activities such as a potluck and dj dance party at the pavilion.

Bruin Lake Campground — Pinckney Recreation Area

    Bruin Lake Campground

Wonderful place even when it’s packed. Harder to get reservations over the years but always a great place to stay. Awesome bathrooms newly renovated. Nice spots. Mostly paved in the lower sites. Nice swimming area however no beach sand. Just a grassy area. Public boat launch on Bruin lake. Bruin lake connects to a few more lakes creating a nice chain of lakes. Half moon at the end of the chain is a great all sports lake. Awesome fishing. Sites have electric, no water. There is a dump station. Wood and ice available for purchase and a few vending machines. Nice hiking trails. They do have a few hike in yurts and hike in camping sites. Decent parking places for those hike ins.

    Angola/Hogback Lake KOA Holiday

    Great Visit / Great Park

We spent this past week at Hogback Lake KOA. It is late in the season so much of the park was closed for the season, but we had a great year round site. A little bit of road noise, but water, electric, sewer, cable TV all worked great. We have family in the area and had a great visit. We will definitely stay here again in the spring.
