ScoutHad a reservation for 6 months and the day we were to arrive, we were told we could not have the site we prepared for because someone else wanted to stay longer. Management has the right to alter your reservation without your consent or the courtesy of a phone call. When questioned, the owner treated us like garbage and was rude as hell. Would never recommend this place to anyone, stay away!!!

TravelerTent lots are not very private. No hiking trails or green area to walk around or hike. Good atmosphere and lots of stuff to do though. Tubing was awesome and you end at the campground. Nice store and food options on the grounds
TravelerWe have had a great experience at Benton Lake. Some great birding in our kayaks on the lake. A couple miles west we hiked the NCT a couple miles O&B. Beautiful woods. Clean sites, great bathrooms. Mike the caretaker is a real worker and is maintaining the place beautifully. Sites are spacious and generous. Easy to pull in to and pretty quiet place. Enjoy!

Hes very up tight and is not afraid to scream the F word at you if feels you are wrong.
Don’t go. Find somewhere you can camp ..and can go 6 mph without being chased down by him screaming and whistling
ScoutThe coordinates lead you to a state that park if it is off sand road or Russell road it’s 30 minutes out for where coordinates are. Struggled to find any primitive camping anywhere nearby.

ScoutThis campground used to be great. I don't know what happened I believe they have so many seasonal that they have become the bread and butter. Don't seem to care bout weekender. Every time you turn around there's another rule and/ or fee. It has gotten to the point we no longer enjoy the place. We will never come back! I understand having rules but this is ridiculous. They advertise all these amenities but ya got to pay for it all as well as the site rental. They have gone downhill in customer service. The office staff is very rude as well as the campground seasonal that patrol and watch your every move.
