Dutch Treat Camping & Recreation

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Easy highway access makes Dutch Treat Camping & Recreation a practical base for the Holland, Michigan area, with drive-in sites running $48–$52 per night and full hookups available for rigs up to 50 feet. Reservations are accepted, which matters during summer holidays when the campground tends to fill. Sites are level and pull-throughs are available for larger setups, including Class A rigs towing trailers. Pets are welcome, and the season runs April 1 through November 1.

The campground has been family-owned for generations, and that ownership shows in the day-to-day upkeep. Bathrooms draw consistent praise across reviews, with one camper noting the facilities looked "brand new." There's a pool on site, along with fishing and a gaga ball pit that give families reasons to stay put between day trips. Downtown Holland sits about ten minutes away, and Lake Michigan beaches are roughly a twenty-minute drive. Campers looking at camping near Zeeland will find Dutch Treat among the more full-service options in the area.

Full hookups include 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, plus a dump station and WiFi. The bathhouse is described as older in construction but kept clean. Crowding can be a factor on holiday weekends, so booking ahead is worth the effort. If Dutch Treat is full, Dutch Colonial Inn Bed and Breakfast is another nearby option worth checking. Campers passing through or planning a longer stay in western Michigan will find this a functional and well-maintained stop.

Great spot for big rigs

Drove in with our class A pulling a trailer and called ahead, friendly staff was able to accommodate us with a pull through spot that was easy access, a slip to pay via Dropbox in the morning, and the hookups we needed (50⚡️, 💩, 💧). Easy access to highway and not far from a cute little town (Hudsonville??) where we found a really good Mexican place and a Meijer’s. Would visit again when passing through.
