Sady, quiet with great hiking

We camped at the Daughters of the American Revolution State Forest in September of 2019 and we are returning in October of 2021.

We found the campsites clean, flat and plenty large for our camper, tent and car.

The grill grate in the firepit is ADJUSTABLE which I love for cooking over the…

A pleasant place to camp!

What a fun place to stay! The sites are spaced apart nicely and well maintained. There is electric at most sites with water near the ends and there is a tent area with nothing. Also each site had large fire pits and picnic tables!! Large well maintained bathrooms are provided in the middle of each…

Great place to relax

Beautiful clean campground All the sites are spacious. The site is on a peninsula in Otis reservoir. Lots of activity in the water! Small area of sandy beach with a pavilion and grills. The comfort stations have flush toilets and there are only three hot showers within the campground. Never had an…

Lake Taconic / Bash Bish falls

Great campgrounds that are dog friendly and easy to get to. The trail head to bash bill falls was also at the campgrounds which was convenient.

Easy camping experience

This camp site offered a fairly easy and laid back experience. The park ensures you’ll have what you need with stores within close proximity and the staff even offers ice and firewood delivery to your site. Our spot and most other spots were decently spacious and level, although fairly close to our…

Wonderful Campground

The people at the office are so nice and welcoming. The campground is very clean. They are dog friendly and there aren't a ton of rules like other campgrounds. Everyone else camping were very quiet and friendly. There are trails to walk and fishing spots on the river. There are trout in there, but…

Not a friendly place

My wife and I went there and staff were not very polite. They charge you an extra $10 just for a key they said they were going to have events they never had any of them. However the pool was nice and the grounds were nice but for me the staff the owners really rude I will never return.

Great camping spot!

Stayed over for 2 nights, the campground is easy to access, amenities (showers and toilets) are in excellent shape and clean. The overall conditions of the campground are great. Some campsites are more private than others, we stayed at #84 and loved it. Showers are $0,50 for 5 minutes, $0,25 per…

Quiet campgrounds

Quiet campgrounds with multiple kinds of sites. We stayed in a hike in site, near the bathroom facilities, but out of view. It’s a steep, short hike uphill.

Small campground in the Berkshires

Nice small campground in North Adams Ma. Very helpful friendly staff . Sites are nice and most have electric, water and some with sewer hookups. One issue is the hookups are spread out on your sites. So you may need extra hose or longer cord to complete your hookups. Camping here gives you a small…

Excellent birding

Stopped for one night on way from New England to Finger Lakes region. Fairly level pull-thru. Mix of large rock gravel, dirt, grass/weeds. Service side of rig faced a nice small grassy area with pretty trees. Awning side faced rather ugly weeds/shrubs and was close to neighbor. Bathouse ok. Plum…

This is such a charming little campground. The wading pool is so cute and perfect for families with young children and adults alike. The campground is clean, and has brand new bathrooms and showers (which are private! And free!). I only took one star off because many of the sites are very close…
