Mature oaks shade the sandy sites at Atlantic Oaks Campground in Eastham, giving this RV-oriented property a forested feel despite its position along a well-traveled Cape Cod corridor. Sites run large enough to accommodate rigs up to 70 feet, and pull-throughs are plentiful, though reviewers note that sandy ground rather than gravel means dust and dirt can accumulate around the rig. Full hookups with 50-amp electric, water, and sewer are available, and one detail campers have flagged approvingly: small picket fences screen the sewer connections from neighboring sites.

The campground sits directly on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which gives cyclists and walkers immediate access without loading bikes into a vehicle. Cape Cod National Seashore, multiple beaches, and the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail are all within a short drive. Arnold's Lobster and Clam Bar is close enough to reach on foot. Beautiful campground

Had a wonderful time here! The staff were very friendly, the site H1 was right on the end and well maintained. The bike trail behind the campground was lovely, and you can easily walk to Arnold’s lobster & clam bar to grab some food or ice cream.

Great home base for Cape Cod

We spent a week in Cape Cod at Atlantic Oaks Campground and so glad we did. We paid $113 per night plus fees for a FHU 50 Amp Pull-thru site(#A6). 

This campground makes a great home-base while touring Cape Cod. 

THINGS I LIKED: 

  • Great location in Eastham— with access to National Seashore, Provincetown, several great beaches and lighthouses, and much more 
  • Beautiful park setting with well-kept natural landscaping including lots of mature shade trees 
  • Access to Cape Cod Rail Trail right from the campground— bring your bikes 
  • Our hookup utilities all worked fine 
  • This may seem like a silly thing to comment on, but I like how they installed mini picket fences to block the view of the sewer connections from the neighbors— this is a great idea I wish other campgrounds would do too(see the photos) 

THINGS I DIDN’T LIKE SO MUCH: 

  • Just one thing that bothered me— the sites were all sandy dirt which made everything dirty and dusty(gravel would be an appreciated improvement) 

WOULD WE COME BACK? 

Absolutely, this is a nice place with plenty to do 

WANT A FUN TIP? 

Check out Wellfleet Drive-in Theatre, just a couple minutes away. We saw Jaws(Jaws~ in Cape Cod!) and had a great evening.

Loved this campground

This was a great campground! The campsite was a pull-through! The bathroom and bathhouse were very clean! Location was great to other attractions! Definitely would love to stay here again!

Great campground

Large, pull through spaces with easy access to the Cape Rail Trail. They did charge $8 for my dog at check in

Nice Campground

This campground is very nice and comfortable! It has showers and additional bathrooms for campers to use. This campground is also under an hour drive from a lot of places around the Cape and even though very booked up doesn’t seem overly crowded. Only downside is that some of the sites are very close together and have different campfire placements.

Cape Cod National Seashore

Great spot. Access to the Cape Cod bike trail @ the campground. Clean facilities. We like more secluded sites but for a last minute reservation the local spots are too good to miss. We could have gotten a better site if we planned better. They were so accommodating taking us. We had to move during our stay & they insured it did not interrupt our play allowing us to park our Little Guy & move at our convenience. We will be back. Cape Cod National Seashore minutes away, great restaurants & you must walk the Atlantic White Cedar Swam Trail.

Nice campground

Fairly large, mostly RV and travel trailer park, we felt right at home in our popup. Check in and out were simple. Sites are large although a little close together. Mostly sandy gravel sites with lots of shade available. There are a few really nice tent sites next to the playground, close to the store, showers, and restrooms.

Facilities were uncrowded and very clean. Camp store was nice with lots of supplies available. Wonderful playground for the kids, big and small. Great little dog park.

The location of this campsite is perfect! Short drive to many of the best beaches on the Cape. Lots to do in the immediate area for families, plenary of restaurant options.

We will definitely return!
