Small, cheap, and difficult to find.

Super cheap at only 8.50 a night, but its located within a gated community. You must go to the main gate at 1 Waynoka Dr. Sardinia, OH 45171 to enter the they will give you a map to the campground. Lots are ok, but gravel. Nice bath houses and electric is at each site. Not much hiking or adventure here but a good place to camp a few nights. Lots of permanent campers and kids biking around. Good shade. First come first serve, but they usually have a few sites open when we go.

Awesome River View

Our site had a level concrete parking pad and concrete deck overlooking the river. On the deck was a patio set with an umbrella and 4 chairs and 2 Adirondack style plastic chairs with a portable fire pit. There was even a clean gas grill with a full tank of propane and utensils! It had rained really hard all day Friday and had cleared up just as we turned off the highway so the river was really muddy and had a lot of debris and a really fast current. We camped May 8th and 9th and the temperature dropped down to 25 degrees. “Angie”, the manager was awesome! She is so very nice, also the man that took care of the campground “Russ” was really nice and helpful, this was our first time using our camper and he even came in and helped us get our tv going. The restroom/bath house is older but I don’t think it could have been any cleaner! The small store/office was also nice, they aren’t trying to make a fortune on there items and there was even free coffee! I give it five stars. We will definitely be back.

Very Cool Spot

This place is new and under great ownership. Justin took the evening call, guided us in then got us quickly settled and told us “ the just right “ amount of info on the campsite and area. The tent sites are very cool. They have a large flat grassy area with lots of sites right beside the river. The RV sites are new, drive through and flat , with electric , and water. There something cool to be facing the cornfield and being in unique open space. Our dog loved it !

Highly Recommend!!

No dogs on trail

Daniel Boone National Park is split into several areas, Natural Bridge State Park is in the Red River Gorge section and SUCH a cool area with so much to do. Natural Bridge has two campgrounds that accommodate RV campers as well as tent campers. Both campgrounds are well maintained and can get very busy. Unless you are an avid hiker you will need to drive to all the different areas and attractions, neither park us very close to anything. That being said, the trails are awesome! No dogs allowed on the trails in Natural Bridge SP but there are plenty of trails in the out lying areas to take the pups on. Nada Tunnel is nearby and a must see! And there are several trails along the scenic roadway that’s travels through Nada and the gorge area. Bring your camera and swim trunks!

Long Walk

Natural Bridge State Park is within Daniel Boone National Forest and Middle Fork is the campground in the State Park. Unless you are a distance hiker you will have to drive to most of the attractions from the campground because they aren’t close. So that’s a pro and a con. The campground is not in the traffic flow but it’s not conveniently located either. My favorite sites are in the back row, shaded and more private. Otherwise it’s a mid size campground that can get a little busy when it’s full. Well maintained. Check out Hoedown Island on Saturday’s , Miguel’s for food and no dogs allowed on the Natural Bridge trails.

Corona Camping

Princess Arch

Princess Arch is at the Red River George in, KY. This is a primitive camping area. Princess Arch offers 105ft of elevation and is a quick 0.6 mi hike from the parking loop. There are bathrooms and trash bins at the parking loop.

Pick up your parking pass at the Shell gas station at 12187 Campton rd, Stanton, KY. A three days pass is $5.

Great climbing, better pizza

It's hard to pass up a site like this with all the amenities it provides at a reasonable price. Showers, laundromat, and gear storage. The climbing community is great, and the pizza is wonderful

Great campgrounds, good amenities, and quiet!

We were a large group (16 people) and reserved grounds at Zilpo for a 4 day trip. We wanted to ensure we were close, so we chose H loop sites 35, 37, and 38. 35 and 38 are right next to each other, so it was easy to walk between the two, and 37 was rather secluded and used primarily as overfill sleeping grounds.

Overall, the campsite was great. We went during the end of August and it was really quiet. The lake was a muddy and murky, but that's typical for a man-made lake. The showers had no warm water, but we'll take a cold shower over no shower.

Electric hookups worked perfectly. Two people brought electric vehicles and were able to plug into the TT-30 outlet and reported no issues the entire trip.

There was cell coverage for all the major cell phone providers, which was a negative in our opinion. But that's totally your preference and I don't take that into my star rating.

Excellent campground

An excellent campground for almost anyone.
