    Very Nice But Noisy

This is a nice campground with pull-through spots, playground, nice washroom/showers. Some spots even have concrete patios with fire pits and grills. A few tiny cabins and a “glamping” tent. The only negative is that the sites are very close together and it is right off I-70 which is very noisy all night long.

    Always reliable, KOA campground.

KOA campgrounds are a quick stopover for us, never a destination. This location has it all. Cabins, tent sites. Great RV sites, even a yurt! Some highway noise. Clean, great kid play area (with ping pong) and a nice playground. New furniture provided and built in fire pits.

    Just Beautiful

I stayed here as i was driving through Kansas, so it was just a quick overnight, but it was very beautiful and peaceful.

I arrived pretty late, about 8:15pm, and there was no one at the gate when I arrived so I was a little worried, but I pulled up their email that had all of the information and between that and the park signs I was able to easily make my way to my campsite--which was BEAUTIFUL! I stayed in spot A18, and if you are tent camping I would choose that one if you can. It is the last spot in the row of sites and is bordered on two other sides by the lake so you can have an uninterrupted view

    Great stop, family friendly!

KOA did not disappoint here. Right off the highway, there is some road noise but for someone passing through it was great because it didn’t add more miles to our trip. We have a 5th wheel so with the AC running at night we didn’t hear the road noise.

Spots are wide enough to allow space and not on top of neighbors. We got a deluxe patio site. Very convenient so we did not have to pull out are grill and outdoor furniture for just an overnight stay. Had a fire pit and gas grill (that was remarkably clean and had all clean utensils inside for grilling!)

The store has fresh pizza and ice cream available, as well as some small grocery needs, and there is a big selection for Rv accessories/parts.

The kids loved the pool. There are 2 pools one circular one 3ft on sides 6 in the center. And a smaller rectangle one that is a kiddie pool. My son is 40 inches and he could touch the entire length. They have a gator pulling train cart, pedal carts, a jumping pad, basketball hoops that are adjustable and an outdoor ping pong table. Also a playground that could use some updates. And a fenced in dog park.

Overall a great stop for one night, and if I ever find myself driving through Kansas again I will definitely stay again.

    Good campground

This was a good place to stay. It had water and electric for utilities. A pit toilet close by and new playground equipment in A loop. I didn’t use the showerhouse, but it was a bit of a ways off outside our campground loop. Good access to rocky shoreline and lake for activities. If you bring kids keep away from tree trunks as I saw some poison ivy starting to grow at the base of several trees. Saw local LE patrol daily.

    Nice level sites

We went kayaking and playing on the beach. We booked the buddy sites to have an extra large site beside the beach area and it was worth it. All sites seemed well kept and level. Only downside is the blue-green algae made it unsafe to swim but that is not a fault of the campground. Boat ramp was close and boats were able to anchor on the beach at night for campers to easily launch near the campground.

    Just Passing Through

While traveling from Alabama to Colorado I stopped at West Rolling Hills. Since it was Labor Day weekend the campground was crowded. I ended up in my tent next to R.V.'s. Despite these things I enjoyed the stay so much I made it two nights. The facilities were clean, showers and bathrooms were well maintained. Folks were friendly. I'd recommend this as a good spot to stay if traveling.

    Spacious primitive sites

Cedar point has some very spacious primitive and tent sites. There are also some with electric and water. Some of the sites in this campground have nice water views. Most have fire rings and tables. There are restrooms, bath house, trash receptacles and a dump. There is also a swim beach and a hiking trail. It’s a very pretty area and this park has wildlife to view like the large flock of turkey vultures who live in the dead trees of cedar point.

Great spot for on the lake views and weekend camping.

Went with a buddy for tent camping 1 night this August. Clean area with plenty of firewood and a picnic table. Paid 14$ for a campsite, grass definitely could of been trimmed at our designated campsite. card only at the entrance because of COVID-19 at the moment. We camped right across from the boat ramp but was still a beautiful view

    Lakeside

Had a great time. The tent camping area has been closed since 2019 which is disappointing since we were there with a tent in the middle of a bunch of RV’s. Still a beautiful spot. The check in process was severely frustrating. They only do online. So when we got there with little sun left it took 30 minutes to actually reserve the spot.

    Quick and easy stay

It was super easy to pull off the highway and stay for the evening. We called late, about 11pm and they were great over the phone and just had a slip we filled out the next morning. I wasn’t sure where to bathrooms were and it was late so it was hard to find where they were. There was road noise and what seemed like construction but it was dark enough and right off the highway for a quick stay.

    Lots of trees but noisy

I would give this place 3.5 stars for the visual atmosphere, however, given the noise levels from the interstate and highway, I can't give it four. It has lots of trees but they don't seem to do much to block the constant noise. I did like the contactless check-in. I would stay here again for one night in a pinch but would not enjoy being here long-term.

    Tent Camping

Last 4th of July my family and friends went tent camping here. There is a nice beach area to swim, we rented kayaks and canoes for a leisurely paddle around the lake. Our camp site had plenty of over head cover from the sun.
