Great campsite

It was a good campsite but the only thing that was bad was the bugs. Ether than that it was a great place to camp.

Has potential

This place has great potential, but just isn’t quite there. The indoor pool is great. It’s as warm as a bathtub, but still cool enough that you don’t overheat in 15 minutes. The facilities are VERY outdated, but still functional. The only water available comes from the hot spring, so you have to take cold water to mix it, or wait for it to cool before drinking. With some updates, this could be a high quality place.

Irish Point

We camped at Irish Point at Arrowhead's designated dispersed camping area. The road around the reservoir is pretty tight, though that doesn't discourage long trailers and toy haulers. We're pretty self-contained so didn't miss any usual camp ground amenities. Our neighbors were sparse and quiet and we enjoyed the peace of this area.

Great park.

Nice picnic area, with a good boat ramp. Hike across the dam, fish, and enjoy the cliffs above

Great hike with a oasis at the end!

Easy hike to a stocked pond. Not much elevation difference, on a good path.

The canyons are amazing

Out if this world views, it is a must see. Be prepared to take your time, enjoy the solidarity.

Great views

Nice facilities… camp ground are close but there is enough coverage you don't notice others. The area has tons to do petroglyphs, fishing, hiking, geocaching, and semi-dark skies area.

Highly recommend

We stayed here for about 3 weeks in our motorhome while waiting to close on our new house. The price was very reasonable, the staff was very helpful and friendly, very nice and clean amenities.

My only complaint is that the spaces are pretty narrow. We had neighbors within 10 feet of us on both sides.

I would stay here again.

Close to Boise

It is pretty neat and clean camp ground, although it has limited tent ports but each one have (sort of) personalized water access. And it is very very close to Boise within 20 miles from Airport, so you can virtually forgot all the camping equipment b/c you can buy / rent them quickly as it is so close to big city
