Snake River RV Resort, LLC

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Snake River RV Resort operates year-round along the Snake River in Homedale, accommodating RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The resort provides both pull-through and back-in sites across open terrain with direct river access, though campers should note the access road can be rough.

The grounds feature extensive grassy areas maintained through daily watering, creating green spaces throughout the property. Large trees provide shade across many sites, while a pavilion area near the river accommodates group gatherings. "Grounds are well kept and river access is abundant," notes Barry S., who also found the sites spacious. The Snake River offers fishing opportunities for channel catfish, smallmouth bass, and trout, with some anglers reporting success in the shallows during spring months.

The resort includes clean restrooms and showers, along with WiFi access. Several reviewers mention noise from the nearby Homedale Airport and lumber mill operations. The property hosts both short-term visitors and full-time residents, creating a mixed community atmosphere. Staff members receive consistent praise for helpfulness and maintaining the grounds.

For those wanting different river access options, Riverside RV Park sits less than two miles northwest.

Nice, Relaxing

I really can't add much more about this place except that I felt relaxed, enjoyed the grass, shade, views and staff friendliness. The other reviews provide all the plusses I would have stated. I added some pictures that hadn't been shared yet.

Great area with solid camping arrangements

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Grounds are well kept and river access is abundant. Lots of full timers but all were very nice and willing to chat and interact. Sites were spacious and large trees were in abundance. Grass was well maintained and a slight bit soggy in places, but this did not create any issues. Large pavilion area on the river is great for large groups.

All in all, a very nice location with great staff and large areas to enjoy while on walks or just while sitting back in a lawn chair.

Definitely will visit again!

Cought Lots of Fish!

when the weather warms up in the spring this is a great place to catch channel catfish in the shallows. I live in Caldwell and take my motor home here occasionally just for the quiet serenity. and the fishing, is not bad at all (in the spring) if you're just looking for some nice quiet peaceful time down by the river they will let you pull your motor home right down there close. fairly close anyway. I recommend it.

Nice park and pool.

We stayed at Snake River RV Park in Idaho Falls, Idaho in September 2021. This park is a FHU pull-thru site and also has back-in sites. Our site was flat and level and a snap to set up our fifth wheel. It was windy and dusty during our stay. There was a nice pool and lots of grassy areas to walk our dogs. Well kept and close to the river!

What a wonderful place to stay. Spent 9 delightful days sitting under the trees or out by the river. The grounds are well kept and the grass is GREEN! They water just about, if not, every day! Dave, Gary and the other staff members take pride in what they do and how they want the park to look. It is a GEM! Yea, there's not much to do in Homedale but why would you need to go anywhere. It is such a treat to just hang out there and enjoy the serenity. You can go fishing on the Snake River. I caught 10 small mouth Bass, couple were keepers! There's plenty of catfish, trout and, if you get lucky, Salmon. Go and enjoy! We did!

Well taken care of.

This place has beautiful green grass, next to the river. The bathroom and showers are very nice. It was a little loud next to the Homedale Airport and a lumber mill. The employees are super nice.

Sitethe 1 tent site, no hookups with our slide in camper.
