Such a DISAPPOINTMENT

The cabin we reserved for two nights was such a disappointment, becasue of the time we arrived we forced ourselves to stay one night. The floors were not clean and sleeping on the bed provided was like sleeping on a pie tin. it crinkled and cracked everytinme you moved. The cabin door you could not lock and the bathroom was unbelievably dirty. The shower was more like a drip.

Party central

We stayed 2 nights. The neighbors next to us drank all day and all night. There is supposed to be a noise curfew. It wasn't enforced. It was horrible. When they were asked to quiet down. They said nope and proceeded to say I hope you enjoy us and our parties.

The bathrooms... horror movie material! Showers, I'm pretty sure have never been cleaned. There was large mice or rat feces every where. Spiders in the showers. No water pressure. I have seen dirty bathrooms as I own my own cleaning business. This bathroom took dirty, disgusting to a whole née level

Underwhelming

Pretty view of the river. Campground looks like a farm storage area overall with the basketball court covered by a dog kennel, and junk lying about everywhere. Swim area is pretty mucky and shallow. Swim dock is barely in the water. There was a wasp nest in the electric hookup for our site and no one around to tell. In fact, we never saw anyone affiliated with the campground that we could tell. Cabins seemed super cute from what we could see. It has a lot of potential but needs some TLC. Bathrooms were clean and free showers that were too.

Easy Street

Our first camping trip for 2022. Rivers Edge RV park was available and made a no hassle, easy on line reservations.

I enjoyed the fact that you can kayak from the camp area on the Snake River, and within just a couple miles, you officially kayaked to Oregon.

We found a local vineyard that is a pleasure to visit. Good food, good wine and a great view of the vineyard while eating.

The owners (Megan/Turk), made the camping trip wonderful. Full time RV for them, they seem to have a way of making you feel like family at the camp fire. Very down to earth and easy going.

Very relaxing

It was our maiden voyage in our new to us trailer. Beautiful views, quiet. We felt like we were all alone on the river.

Nice RV park with great views !

Clean park with beautiful views of the Snake River and hills. It was quiet after 10:00pm. Easy to pull in and out of. We are adding to our list to stay again.

Would not recommend if you want any piece and quiet!

We arrived for our weekend mid-afternoon on Friday. Parked our trailer in our designated spot in the middle of the grassy area near the horseshoe pits. After unloading, setting up and taking a walk around the park (down to the river, dock, beach area, etc) it became obvious that this was not the place we expected it to be based on other reviews!

We decided to give it some time and benefit of the doubt. Made dinner and ate outside (weather was perfect). During dinner we were treated to the drunken, LOUD ramblings of other campers - complete with foul language at the highest volume possible! Permanent residents at the back of the park left a lot to be desired. Messy camp sites.

There are no hiking trails or places to explore. If you don't have a camp spot right on the water, fishing access is horrible - only super shallow, reed-filled openings. Certainly not what we expected from a riverfront park with great reviews. The fishing dock is a joke, the water near and around the dock is a filthy, grime filled, trash collecting mess!

Tried to get our child to bed before 10pm but was virtually impossible with the level of noise coming from the group area (which was across the park, mind you), not to mention music streaming loudly from several other campers all around. 10pm quiet hour does not seem to matter to the hosts who did nothing to help those of us who expect rules to be followed.

By first thing in the morning, we had found another camp site to flee to and we couldn't get out of there fast enough!

Never again will we be back. Never again.

Camping with a River View

This summer we tried Rivers Edge Rv Park for the first time and had a great experience. On our drive up to Pacific Northwest in early August we did tent camping here and in late September we tried the cabins along the river. Wonderful quiet location, good hosts and amazing sunsets on the Snake River. If you stay in the cabins, just a note that this is a place where you need to bring your own bedding and kitchen items, however there is a hot plate and sink, plus a microwave. The ladder steps up to the bedroom was an adventure in itself😛 No bathrooms in the cabin, but there is a community bathroom and shower. One star off because the bathroom really does need to be updated. Shower was a bit grungy. But for everything great about this place, I know we will be back!

Not what I expected driving in...

So, after a long way driving all day and the way it takes you to get to this little hidden gem is in the middle of friggin nowhere farmland with fields and fields of hops being grown. Super skeptical driving in and then you arrive and it was perfect. Quite grounds overall, little basketball court my little guy was stoked About and the river highlighted the views. Best little place if you’re driving through the Boise area.

Water as warm as the gulf

  • Tent camping was easy, middle of the campground. I was the only tent, counted 10 RVs. Felt safe. $22
  • Nice owners
  • The water was so warm I swam at midnight! That’s 5 stars.

1/5 for loud sprinklers on all night and It’s farm land so a breeze would bring in the faintest scent of cow manure from time to time

The drive here is gorgeous! rolling hills, rich farm land, grape vines 20ft high. At sunset it was magical.

Best little Campgound in the area!

Best little Campgound in the area! Sits right on the Snake River, large grassy area with lots of shade, Cabins, tent sites, limited full hookups, electric, covered picnic tables, small boat dock, 2 horseshoe pits excellent catfishing, supplied fire rings (you can buy wood there), they just added a TeePee! The host, Turk, and his wife, Meghan, are absolutely, by far the best camp hosts we've ever dealt with. Dogs are allowed. BEST SUNSETS EVER!
