I use this park strictly for sporting events as it's close by and is relatively quiet considering how close it is to the highway," shares Mike N.
Nearby apple festivals: Fall brings special events to the region. At Diamond Lure Campground, one camper mentions, "We went during the Ellijay apple festival, so they were busy, but the campground was great! Great view of the lake and staff is so helpful and nice!"

Navigation challenges: Some roads in the Ball Ground region require careful navigation. At Talona Ridge, one RVer notes, "As our Brinkley G3500 is 13' 8" high, we routed to miss a 13' 7" bridge on a small portion of US-76 just off of US-411. Instead of taking the left turn onto US-76, we stayed on US-411 down to GA-136."
