Poteete Creek Campground

Great campground on Lake Nottley about 20mins from downtown Blairsville. The campground is very large with lots of great spots for campers and tents. Lots of seasonal campers set up at the campground so the people are really nice because they treat this place like home. Large sites with picnic table (cement), fire ring, and lots of parking space. Bathrooms have warm water in showers and clean toilets. Campground sells ice, wood, and worms for fishing :). There is also a boat ramp to launch your boat, a large playground, and a beach for swimming. Friendly campground host. Dogs are allowed at the campground but must be leashed. Paved roads throughout the campground so make sure to bring your kids bikes or scooters. Lots of golf carts roaming as well.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. We tent camped at site 27 and loved it! Very close to the bathroom! We have a two year old and a dog that camped and did great!

very nice, but did not only seem RV type camping. I think this are has tent camping as well but was very quite area so would not have felt comfortable with small kids and did not see a lot of thing for kids here.
