Terrible breed restrictions

I didn’t get the chance to have an experience because they would not even rent to me because I have mixed breed rescue dogs.

Pleasantly Surprised

Great find on our way North from Florida to Missouri. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the interstate. Quiet, mostly shady spots. Only stayed one night while in transit but it's definitely on the list of return spots when we're in the neighborhood!

Peaceful Campground Named Cedar Creek

This campground has good shade and pretty surroundings.

There is a dog playground, horseshoes, salt water pool, laundry, and A/C bathrooms. Our ate did not have sewer but there is a dump station. Pretty little spots throughout the campground. Very little traffic noise from highway and there is a campground peacock that can be heard.

Only real downsides for us was that our campsite didn’t have a picnic table or fire ring. Would definitely stay here again.

Needs renovation

Great for an overnight stop while traveling.
Not so great for a fun weekend.
No firepits or tables at many of the sites.
Bathroom seriously dated.

Dog park looked clean, if small. Playground had some "old school" equipment great for older kids.

Great Experience

The campground(CG) was easy to find and check in was a breeze. We then proceeded to pull through site 62 with FHUs for a planned two night’s stay. The couple running the CG are first class and very nice, plus they delivered fresh baked chocolate chip cookies that evening. Our campsite was okay, with a bit of a slope where the our steps came down. The pull throughs are basically their overnighter sites with no picnic table nor fire pit. There was a huge group fire pit next to our site. The 60 numbered sites would be very close, but they did not put anyone in site 61 so we had good spacing between us and the rig in site 60. Due to impending winter weather, we decided to cut our stay short. When we let the owners know the next morning, they were very understanding and said they wouldn't charge us for the night, with the exception of a$10 fee to pay for the credit card transaction. We received our refund within hours of leaving the park. You do not see refunds very often in private campgrounds for leaving early, etc. The next time we stay, we’ll request one of the deluxe sites towards the front of the CG. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Great Campsite

I was able to move to a 2nd site. This one is nice. Plenty of room, nice shade, full hook ups, private, fairly level. I would come back here if I could reserve another spot like this one.

OK

The campground has new ownership. It looks looks like they are trying to make improvements but have a lot of work ahead. Most of the roads and RV sites are gravel. There are very few level sites. The one we stayed had a 2’ elevation change. The back of my rig was almost touching the ground while the front was maxed out at 3’. The campground has a playground, enclosed dog play area, saltwater pool, laundry, bathhouse, fishing pond, peacock, ducks, and cabins. The staff is really nice and helpful. The campground is OK in pinch but not a destination place.

Horrible

We made a reservation well I advance as we knew we needed to be in the area for 15 days. Called and made the reservation as we were traveling w friends and wanted one spaces to be close they couldn’t find our friends reservation but then called me back later I told them we had pets and three slides and needed ample room and that my husband needed level ground due to just having surgery. I was assured no problem and we’d be right next door to our friends. The family they arrived 2 days before we did and the campground had Lost their reservation. Moved their space. But told them our reservation was still good. We arrived and our site was narrow with a huge tree right where our slide would open, horrible experience. The next morning. We were able to move our site by our friends across the park, we were told we’d have to move by Friday because the site was reserved. We went in on Friday to see if we could stay in the site pay the difference we were told no it wasn’t good someone had reserved the site fri thru Sunday. The story changed to Saturday to Monday ... we moved to a water site and the “reserved site “ had no one in on Friday, a fifth wheel Saturday and a motorhome on Sunday... very disappointed in being lied to. The park was is huge need of repairs and grading of the roads and sites The power poles were falling over water leaked at faucets Very narrow roads to be getting larger rigs through do not recommend the larger rigs it was even hard to get our 33 feet through
