A place to park with no bath, no amenities and mostly long term residents

The 5 star reviews are perplexing. We're not new to RVing and have stayed in plenty of lovely mom& pop parks. This is a family owned campground, but it is basically a parking lot with hookups for people who live there long term. Our site was on the side of a road about 50 yards away from the Dump Station. It was referred to as a premium, pull through rather than what it is... a pull to the side of the road. There was no grass or picnic table. I'll post pictures that show the condition of our site and how close the spots are to one another. The pictures online and YouTube videos of this park are very deceiving. The grassy areas beside and between the lakes can only be accessed by walking though other camper's sites.

** Use caution navigating the park because the roads at the back have no way to turn around if you get back there.

Near Atlanta

This campsite has two small lakes as their centerpiece. Very close sites with electric and water. Some sewer sites, dump station cost an extra $10 on top of $50 fee. No other amenities to speak of

Hidden Gem

Booked this campground for our Memorial Day weekend. Luckily they had one full hookup site left for us. You can book sites daily or monthly. When you’re heading to the campsite be cautious of the road you need to turn at because they don’t have a sign. The offices closes at 6:30, but if you don’t get there on time like we did they leave your reservation info outside the door. We really lucked up on our site(#H) because it was right on the end and it was pretty close to the lake. The only downfall to our site was we were right next to the dump site. Luckily we only smelt it once, so it was too bad. They have several swings overlooking the lake for a very relaxing view. You’re allowed to fish in the lake, but no swimming or kayaking. They have a really cool trail that goes behind the lake that’s a mile long. The staff was super nice and welcoming as well. Just FYI they only take cash or check payments. They have a lot of grocery stores and restaurants pretty close so you don’t have to travel far if you need anything. We had a lot of fun and we’ll definitely be coming back if we’re ever in the area. 🙂
