Very nice

Incredibly beautiful views, gorgeous sunsets. Very well maintained facilities. Beautiful pool and spa only open during the summer. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice campground

Was able to get in. Lots of seasonal campers. Has a swimming hole which encourages lots of bugs. Getting sung to sleep by frogs. Lots of pot holes. Nice pool but full of kids. Nice playgrounds.

Wide-open state park with cramped campsites

The park is huge with tons of space for picnics, beachgoing and - weirdly - parking. (Someone must've gotten a tasty asphalt contract.)

Unfortunately, all of the campsites are jammed into one quadrant, with very little distance between each. Our site (#17) was quite small and was not clearly…

Nice and Quiet

If you like nice big private sites, peace and quiet while providing a great location for fishing and hiking (Henry Buck Trail) then this is your kind of place.   Our family likes to get out into the hiking trails and hit activities in the area vs the all inclusive campground experience and this…

Everything we needed

The sites were fairly close together, and there wasn’t a ton of privacy. G1, however, was separated from the rest by its own little drive. We appreciated the privacy, even if it meant being right on the main road. The 10 pm quiet policy was well followed by everyone. Bathrooms weren’t great, and I…

Hemlock hills

Great weekend campground. If you like the ct part of the AT it’s a great place to camp and get lost in the Litchfield hills.

Chage of ownership

I was told they were open year round when I went to find out they said no they're not open you around and it's a $1000 a month

Great park

Very well maintained and friendly staff will stay again when in the area. Does not have sewer hookups, but does have a dump station.

Seasonal camping - YES, weekend/week - DEFINITELY!

We found this site on Campendium, we needed a site close to the Lebanon Valley Speedway to watch a friend race. Our site #1A was a quick back in site with full hookups and a perfect view day or night, right on their pond.

This area has a large seasonal population but they are super friendly and…

A hidden gem...

99% off people don't even know this area exists. If you want a quiet piece of beautiful forest to truly rough it and go camping for a few days, then this is what you have been looking for. Less then 10 min drive from town, but hiking in and finding a suitable place to make camp has the feeling of…

Nice campground with nice facilities

The playground was awesome for our two year old. The tent sites had some shade, the showers and bathrooms were really nice.

Picturesque, peaceful, and beautiful!

The staff were very polite and helpful. They deliver wood to your site. It’s a place to get away! I loved my time there.

Hope they can upgrade it

I used to live in the area and never realized this place was here. We came across it accidentally. Passport America you can get it for $25 a night cash. There's a few old campers lying about ( talk of removal ) and a handful of weekend campers. The owner Scott is very friendly and knowledgeable.…
