    Monument RV Park

    Monument RV Park, CO

Monument RV park is located in Fruita, CO which is only 12 miles or 20 minutes from Grand Junction. Fruita has a lot to offer for a small town. There are biking and hiking trails as well as the national monument itself.

At the campground, we were pleased with our stay. The bathrooms, showers and laundry were up to par. Although, one of the buildings was closed for the winter. The dog park had waste that guests didn’t pick up, but it was nice they had a space dedicated to our pets. There is a pool for the warmer months and it’s in close proximity to a Dairy Queen, liquor store and other restaurants. They also have a RV storage space!

    The Views

Absolutely breathtaking views on your drive up to this site! It’s only a 15 minute drive from Fruita. Tucked away ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN! We camped on the side of the mountain, so when we woke up we were rewarded with the most beautiful overview of the city and mountains. Very clean and nice flushable bathrooms! I love that the gates stay open all night so we can check in whatever time we arrive even if it’s the middle of the night.

    Canyon View RV Resort

    Grand Junction, CO

Loved this place!!! Very clean, friendly and have huge sites. Looks fairly new. It’s close to everything including sites. The mountains are beautiful. Night sky was jaw dropping. The resort was very quiet which was SO nice and relaxing. We didn’t use any amenities but I have no doubt they would be flawless. Grand Junction is worth a 2 night stay it has some incredible things to see. Good restaurants and we had perfect weather. It’s very pet friendly and even have small pet runs in some sites which we got. Nice dog park too. Grand Junction itself is very pet friendly.

    Palisade Basecamp RV Resort

    Wow! Love this camping spot

Can’t say enough about this camp spot. Wow!! Pull throughs ... back ends available. Fabulous service from the owners. We planned on staying 2 nights but ended up staying a few more days. Dog park, showers, laundry faculties, full hookups, general store, art, great WiFi (we had Verizon) ... and some sites are backed up to the Colorado River. Just amazing .... very clean. Would highly recommend!

Fruita Section Camping — James M. Robb Colorado River State Park

    Very nice campground

This was our first trip with our new trailer, and the first night camping with it. The office was closed, so we went on to our site. Someone was hooking up as we approached, but quickly left when we confirmed we had it reserved.
We were pleasantly surprised to find that the site had water. The site was very clean, shaded and long enough that we could stay hooked up to the trailer.
The restrooms were very clean, as were the playground and dog park. We did hear a lot of road noise while outside, but not in the trailer.
Overall, it’s a great little place that’s well maintained!

Fruita Section Camping — James M. Robb Colorado River State Park

Very nice State campground in Fruita

This a a great campground very close to downtown Fruita. It is well maintained and the bathroom/shower rooms are by far the warmest and cleanest we have ever been too. It sits right on the edge of the Colorado River and there are some walking trails around it.

I dont think there are any sites without hookups other than tents so the least expensive site is $36 which is what we had.

Fruita Section Camping — James M. Robb Colorado River State Park

Perfect location for hiking and mountain biking

Very nice, and cared for campground located near the Colorado Monument and other impressive canyons. Close to Fruita and Grand Junction for restaurants. Can be a little noisy (road) if you sleep with windows opened or in a tent. Will get pretty hot in the summer. We had a mild day, a hot day and a cold and windy day. Bathrooms were very clean and had running water. There is a nice and short walk you can do around the pond. Overall it was a good stay!
