Best RV Parks & Resorts near Oak Park, CA

This is my second stay at this RV resort. Both times I was here the Rangers would not enforce any rules and regulations. This particular stay there were two RVs with excessive dog barking from 7 AM till 10 or 11 PM every day and night. 

One RV was parked right next to the restroom and they would tie their dog up to the picnic table for over 12 hours a day. Every time someone walk down the sidewalk to use the facilities, the dog with lunch and start barking at them. The manager and the other Rangers said they do not care and did not enforce anything over a three week. This was an aggressive dog that was lunging, and I’m very concerned that it will break loose invite somebody. None of the Rangers have any concern for our safety.

 The second RV left two dogs and a cat alone for 12 hours a day. They left the windows open and the dogs with aggressively bark and how all day long. Again the Rangers did not care and did nothing about it. Brian, the manager, and three other Rangers witness the dogs in the window, barking aggressively, and refused to do anything about it. 

My neighbor and I called over 20 times to the Rangers. I even personally met with the manager Brian. He said he would take care of it and he never did. The Ranger name by the name Sandra said that she was unwilling to do anything about enforcing the rules, and that if I didn’t like it, I should move. I informed her that I’m paying her salary/wages and I expect her to do her job. She hung up on me. She is completely useless, and should be removed from the staff. 

I’m not sure why Thousand Trails system as allowing Rangers to collect their paychecks without doing their job. 

I regret purchasing by thousand trails membership. If I wanted to hear dogs barking all day, I would stay at a dog boarding kennel. Beware before you visit or purchase a membership through thousand trails Soledad Canyon. Chances are you will regret it.

I recently stayed at Sea Breeze at Seal Beach and I must say, it's my favorite RV resort on a military installation. The security is tight, as it should be, which made me feel safe and secure during my stay.

The campground itself is very nice, well-kept, and has large spaces for RVs. It was also surprisingly quiet, which allowed for a relaxing stay. I will definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.

One of the best things about Sea Breeze is its location. There are plenty of restaurants close by, as well as the beach. It's a great spot to stay if you want to be close to the water and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Overall, I would highly recommend Sea Breeze at Seal Beach to anyone looking for a great RV resort. It has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and the location can't be beat. Whether you're traveling alone or with family and friends, this is a great option for a safe and relaxing vacation.

We love the Soledad Canyon Thousand Trails! It’s gigantic, so you almost always can find a spot. The best are the back in sites at the top of the campground because you back up to a gorgeous Mountain View Cliff. Their pool and spa are FINALLY open and finished with maintenance. The grounds are kept decently but could be a bit cleaner. We normally have pretty bad cell reception. Starlink works well though if you don’t park under one of the few trees. You can tell TT is trying to make the campground even better. They’ve installed a new leveled section as well as a paved bridge! Expecting more to come! All in all, this is a solid thousand trails to stay at for sure, especially if you can land a cliffside site!

Stayed at Golden Shore RV resort in Long Beach, CA for several days. It's very quiet and safe. Security is very good and felt very safe, especially considering the location. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds are kept in excellent condition - very clean and secure. The pool, showers, bathrooms are all spotless. Highly recommend this RV resort.

The first thing you should know about Tapo Canyon Park is that for actual tent camping, you will be in either decomposed granite or concrete. The second thing is that there is no cell service and no phone landlines there. 

The park is very nice, and very well maintained. There is a large grass area with an upgraded playground, ample covered picnic area for large groups, and an archery range (private, but open to the public on Saturdays).

The archery range is one of the best in California. There is a members area and the original range is open to the public on Saturdays from 9-1, with a nominal $5 fee.

The campsites are designed for RVs. I have camped here in a tent and there is no way to drive a stake into the ground. The sites are fairly large and well spread out for an RV lot. 

Each site has a fireplace, picnic table, and full hook ups. There is not much shade. The sites are very well maintained daily by the camp host Terri. 

At night you can hear the coyotes calling as they roam the rugged hills, but don't worry it's a very safe park.

I would give the park 4 stars for camping in an RV, 2 stars for tent camping, the facility as a whole is probably a 4.

The spots are just so small, especially the ones with full hook ups. You can park your car on the next loop over, but you will barely have enough space sit in your chair

This is a huge campground on pyramid lake! The sites are small and close together. The lake levels are always a little low and this lake is especially muddy. Wear water shoes here! The camp sotes are pretty standard, however there are good amenities, like a volley ball court, horseshoes. It is not very shaded, bring a canopy. It's often very dry so I don't do campfires here. Full hook ups available. Good fishing.

Stayed at site Fox 5 (full hook-ups) for 3 nights. Nice level concrete pad and fire pit. We didn’t have any immediate neighbors and it was very quiet and felt very remote at night time. Fox camp is perfect for our kids that like to be on their bicycles and explore. There is a park store right across the street (very pricey but convenient). We had a great time here and will most likely be back.

California Rv Resort Acton California I was going to write a good review but after talking to the manager things went south. I stayed at the resort for 2 months, December and January and before my second month started, I went to talk to the manager on the 27th in the am to explain that I may not stay for the entire 2nd month. So I ask her what would be best since I was not sure when my company was asking me to report to my new location, she was very helpful and said the best is to pay for a whole month through the 27th of January and any difference she said she would just prorate back to my credit card. Well to my SUPRISE when I called@ 9.55 am on the 24th she explained that I would only get back$50.00 after charging me$1175.00 for the 30 days. I'm sure she will say she explained that to me but she did not! Just for the math 30 days divided by$1175.00 is$39.16 per day. they owe me for a minimum of$39.16 per day for 4 days as she explained this= 156.64 NOT$50.00 They are trying to short me out of$106.64. Integrity is doing the right thing when nobody's looking.
