Great spot.

Took a bit to find as the marker on this map isn’t where the entry is. Go past it and take a left on Sierra way, follow to Stine Cove. Toilets and trash at entrance. The dam is being rebuilt so the water is real low. Easy to drive along the beach until nobody else is around. Great views, sunsets,…

Huge campsites

50 huge campsites with lots of trees for shade. Many river side sites. No hook ups, but there is a dump station and several water spigots. Been coming here for years. Only a few miles to town. A short walk to lake Ming and Kern River golf course

Great park with spacious sites

Big level gravel sites with an orange tree on each space. Very large park right off highway 58. (Some road noise). I like that they spread the campers out when it is not busy. We stay here all the time as we travel. Nice laundry. Onsite area to wash your car or RV. Note: call for reservations - $5…

Nice RV park

Very large, well organized, excellent price. Only downside is at times your can hear the freeway and trains passing by. Not bad. Would recommend a stay here.

Awesome!

Super nice well kept campground with large level sites. Clean restrooms and showers. Mature orange trees on each site and dog areas for off leash play.

One stop shopping

This spot, pretty much, has it all. Plenty of easy pull through's, 30&50amp, sewer, water and cable. Bathrooms, showers, laundry and numerous dog walks. A large "clubhouse" sporting a pooltable. Easy trailheads in town shown on All Trails app. Clean and quite, a good layover on my way to the…

Clean and well maintained RV spot.

Helpful owner with a well  maintained site.  Good spot to stop off if you're passing through, but not a destination.  You need to drive to the lake from here and there's a gravel works in view.  I would look into campsites along the Kern river North of here as a more idyllic place to camp.

Giving a 5 for the staff and convenience

This was a quick stop for us. We got here around 11pm and left at 9am after getting our trailer and family loaded therefore I'm not accurately able to rate the rv park itself as we didn't use or see much. The staff was very nice over the phone and we let them know we'd be coming in after hours.…

Perfect summer spot

We came again. This time we reserved spot #21 and it was perfect for us. Very close to the river and surrounded by trees, making it very convenient for camping accessories and games. Campfires are still not allowed because of the season and campfires are such a highlight during camping but we still…

So close to Trail of 100 Giants!

Nice quiet boondocking area downhill off the road. It’s all dust roads so AWD would be best, but we did make it in our van. Slid backwards down the hill kicking up dust a couple of times trying to get out the next day, but we made it! Would have been another story if it had rained. Regardless they…

STOKED to Find This Spot

On my way into Sequoia NF I was so excited to see Hanning Flats dispersed camping area. My pup and I stayed for three nights and didn’t see another person or vehicle the whole time. So peaceful, quiet, sunny, green. My dog did get lots of ticks and we had a mouse find its way into the van but I…

A surprise find.

Booked a site at lake Isabella but it was ugly and windy. Went to look for a better campground and found this gem on the Kern River just a short bit away. Beautiful sites next the the refreshing Kern River. Couldn’t have worked out any better!

Good location - Needs updates

At first we were a bit disappointed but overall it turned out to be a good location for going to the Trail of 100 Giants and the Kern River. The WiFi didn’t work and the bathroom only had two showers. It needs to be updated but it was clean and the people were nice.

Primitive & Convenient

We used this as an overnight on the way from Joshua Tree to Seqoia when we couldn't find a spot at the Walker Pass Campground up the road. It was right next to the road, so not exactly quiet, but we were alone and got to hit the road nice and early. Great for what we needed. Pretty dark skies if…

Secluded, but no food lockers

It’s my 4th trip at this campsite, and what brings me back is the seclusion and the amazing night sky. Also, it’s easier to get a spot here last minute, since it’s not as popular. The rangers said that recently, bears have been coming to this area since the recent fires forced them to move. We saw…
