Great for family camping

We camp with a minivan and two small children. The trees are thick and tall. The site and bathroom are clean. There are many short and easy trails.

There is a slight road noise before dark and in the morning but otherwise it is very quiet.

Does not allow roof top tents!

Went to check in and they wouldn’t let us stay. Apparently they do not allow RTTs in this camp ground. This was our first time with KOA. They have them everywhere so thought it would be worth a try. Guess those aren’t our type of campground.

Up, up, up

For reasons I can't fully explain, Laguna Seca is my favorite campground ever. It's a deep dive into Oak Chaparral and . . . race cars. Expect high winds, revving motors, and ticks. There is no drinking water up there at the moment but there are showers and restrooms. If you are riding your bike,…

Redneck Heaven

Pistol shooting during the day, fireworks at night & race car driving (road course) all day.

No potable water, only electricity & dump. Site dirty, so we cleaned it. Pretty mountain scenery. Great mountain biking & hiking. 20-30 minute access to Monterey Peninsula.

Great place and not far away from the tourist spots.

Great place for only $40 a night. It has all the essentials for your stay. First come, first served. Very clean showers and restrooms! Showers are included in the price. No need to buy annoying tokens. (You can also shower for $3 if you aren’t staying over night). This campsite is located in the…

Great for families!

In mid October the campground is still running kids activities daily and they’re good! Great culture here - friendly, lots of things to do (pool, basketball, volleyball, horse shoes, playground, billiards, karaoke, tennis). We lost power twice here which was unfortunate but lasted 90 minutes once…

Great RV park near Salinas Beach

Moss Landing RV park is a small, tight park close to Salinas Beach. Lots of great food close by. Cell and WiFi have been ok to good this past week, with a couple nights not being able to connect or stay connected. 20-30 drive to downtown Santa Cruz or downtown Monterey. Lots of trails,…

Great easy camping

Cozy clean campsites easy to navigate. Valley view point was pretty nice will make a good painting spot next time. Bathrooms were clean but didn’t use the showers, assumed they worked just as well. Archery ranged looked like a great trail I’ll have to bring my bow next time.

Great campground for a few days

They have nice facilities and a heated pool although a hot tub would be nice also. The sites are a little small but very mature trees and they keep it clean. Some of the back in sites for tent trailer are a pain to get into but very nice setup with private dishwashing station and cook space.…

Awesome Place

This is a great camp ground for families as well as seniors! We are seniors and stayed recently over a weekend when they have their most activities. We attended a presentation on the wild birds in the area that an employee provided, and then he took us on a hike through Costanoa and over to the…

Pleasant setting with some noise from the shooting range

I liked the trees, picnic tables, and fire rings at the sites. The sites were spaced nicely to allow for privacy. Frog Flat seemed a bit more secluded than the main camp. There was no water running at the site when I stayed there, but vault toilets were available. There is a nearby shooting range…

Greast spot to wonder through the woods

There were a lot of walking trails from the campground. Cell phone reception was very bad. Bathrooms were clean but no soap, looked like each campsite had trees to hang a hammock.
