Several RV campgrounds serve the Jasper area with varying levels of hookups and amenities. Harrison RV Park offers 64 sites with full hookups including 30/50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, operating year-round. Sites at Kingston Trails RV Park feature electric and water hookups across 10 spaces with ample room for larger vehicles. "Dogwood Springs in Jasper AR is definitely rustic and unpolished with regard to its setting. RV sites do have full hook-ups although we had an issue with the sewer draining properly on site 31," noted one visitor. Gilbert RV Park provides year-round access with 50-amp electric service, water and sewer hookups on concrete pads that accommodate big rigs, while Ozark View RV Park maintains 60 sites with full hookup capabilities.

Navigating to some RV parks requires careful driving through mountain roads with steep grades and tight turns. Most parks within 30 miles of Jasper offer sanitary dump stations, though availability of other amenities varies considerably. Cell service can be unreliable in valley locations, with better reception at higher-elevation campgrounds. Between March and November, reservation demand increases substantially, particularly during fall foliage season. Propane fill service is limited throughout the region, requiring advance planning. Pets are permitted at most parks, though some implement restrictions on certain breeds or sizes. Concrete pads are available at select locations, while many sites feature gravel pull-through rv pads that may require leveling blocks, especially after heavy rainfall.

      Piney Bay

Beautiful, clean park with huge sites and a friendly host who obviously takes pride in her work. I only booked for 2 days for a break while traveling through the area and I wish I had a week or more. It's so peaceful and my dog loved being here.

      Adams Mountain Rd Dispersed Campsite

Nice little spot. Very easy to get in with plenty of room, level ground, and multiple fire rings. No spectacular view or anything, you're just in the woods with a couple ATV trails. Quiet.

Woolum Dispersed Area — Buffalo National River

Beautiful spot on the river. Vault toilets available and very clean. Road is not terrible going in, didn't have to use 4wd. Spots on the river and spots in the meadow.

      Blue Heron Campground

      Beautiful Well Maintained

Campground was clean, shaded and right on the White River! The amenities were nice including fire pits, pavilion, shower house and laundry. Easy access and parking. Cabins looked nice! Only reason for not giving a 5 is highway noise. Nice location to other attractions.

Woolum Dispersed Area — Buffalo National River

      Great river camp

Clean pit toilets with camps right above the crystal clear river. The spots when you first pull in have the best solar due to shading further down. Watch for snakes. We have already seen a copperhead.

      Piney Bay

      Great quiet spot

This camping spot is about 9 miles off of I40 and no traffic noise. Right on a lake with great views. I have a pop up tent on my truck and they allowed me to stay at one of the 5 now service tent spots and open my tent on the parking spot reserved for A4 tent site. You cannot drive right into your site. If you want to do as I did try for site A4 it’s table in closest to your vehicle. View of the lake. Camp host was very helpful.
