Sitting right on the edge of Lake Taneycomo, Edgewater Beach Resort draws RV campers who want full hookups with direct water access, a combination that's harder to find in the Ozarks than it might seem. The sites are large enough to accommodate a 33-foot motorhome with both a boat trailer and a tow vehicle on the same pad, according to recent visitors. Drive-in access is available, though the approach has been flagged as rough in places, so larger rigs should account for that on arrival.
Sites here are back-in, full hookup (electric, water, sewer), and separated by privacy fencing, which reviewers consistently credit for keeping the sites feeling uncrowded even when the resort is busy. Each site has its own fire pit and picnic table. The resort also has a pool, laundry facilities, and a boat dock. Anglers will find a dedicated fish cleaning station on site. Regina M. notes that "the fish cleaning station is very nice."
The resort sits roughly 20 minutes from Branson and about five minutes from Forsyth, making it a practical base for campers who want lake access without giving up proximity to town. Nearby, Homestead Farm Retreat & RV offers a different style of stay for those exploring camping near Kirbyville. Nightly rates run $35. Reservations are available and pets are welcome. This setup works best for RV campers who prioritize water access and full hookups over a wooded or remote setting.
Description
Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $25 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat.
Ask me about adding a boat slip to your reservation or about getting a discount for a long-term stay. I offer a 25% discount for stays of a month or more.

We stay open all year round! Please note, the water spigots at the RV sites can't be turned on if the outdoor temperature is below freezing.
*Lake Taneycomo will look different based on the seasons, weather, and the flow of water in the lake. It is common to see a large amount of duckweed in the lake, especially in the coves, during periods of high heat. It isn't attractive, but it is harmless. The maintenance crew at the resort constantly works to keep the coves looking as nice as possible, but it is a natural body of water, so there's only so much that can be done.*
