We were pretty close to the neighboring campers and could hear them up at night.
The site is really pretty and was clean - I would go again. It isn’t bad at all especially for the price.
The over all time was good. The showers had really hard water pressure. Stayed by the marina and had some problems with people coming in late with loud music.
The park is not overcrowded and very quiet and spacious! The sites are really big and clean. Many things to do and see also. We highly recommend this campground and will definitely stay here again!
We stayed here for about a week while exploring Hot Springs area. Although the sites are very close to one another, the friendly and helpful staff make this a great place to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Ouachita State Park! We stayed in space 55 and had a great view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets. Our friends stayed in space 1. It was more shady but didn’t have a view of the lake. The cell service was minimal (1 bar) but a cell booster gave us full…
It was kept generally clean, the plots are close together but it wasn't filled when I was there so it worked out!
Beautiful campground with spacious sites and easy walk to gorgeous waterfront views. Lots of trails. Very clean facilities and amazing staff. Loved this park.

Hike in electric spot that overlooked the lake. Easy to walk down and swim in the water!
There are showers & restrooms, grill & fire-pit, trash bins, & a beach swimming area.
40 minutes outside of Hot Springs but definitely worth the drive.
This was a beautiful free campsite with several grills and concrete picnic tables. You are able to access and swim in the lake. There are also vault toilets but you will need to duck through the huge spiders. No running water or electricity and no stores close so be prepared with food and water.…
Just about every sit is on the water...clearest water in the state. 45,000 acre lake I believe. It is a no brainer to make an effort to stay. Bring or rent boats within a 1/2 mile. Staying in Joplin next to Mountain Harbor Resort.... groceries. By the way... dry county so stock up.

Our 1st family camping adventure did not disappoint at Catherine’s Landing! Plenty of room for the kids to ride bicycles and a direct, private access at the campground to Lake Catherine for a little family kayaking. A pleasant surprise for the kids was the ability to sign up for the ziplining…

Tent and RV + boating and fishing. Camping is diverse enough to be in a the forest or on the lake . Water is warm and I swim less than 20 feet from my tent. Highly recommend tent sites 74, 75 and 76. Breathtaking views of the lake.

Primitive campground without any hookups or dump station. Sites are beautiful. Quiet location but very convenient to the highway and about half an hour from Hot Springs, 5-10 minutes to Mt. Ida. Boat launch near the campground but not noisy. Bathrooms with running water in sinks, flush toilets, no…

Corps of engineers Park. Beautiful location and you can park your RV or pitch your tent right by the lake. Is a bit remote so I recommend that you make sure you have everything you need before you head out this way. I definitely would return if ever in this area.

It’s a great place. Quiet and beautiful right on Lake Ouachita. Very remote so make sure you have everything you need before you get out there because there aren’t any stores even convenience stores or gas stations nearby. Beautiful location and even better if you have a boat then you can explore…
