Many campers appreciated the breathtaking views and peaceful solitude of this primitive dispersed site. Several guests observed the complete lack of facilities and rocky access road that limits larger RVs.

Nice views

This site has a great view with at least a few established camping spots with fire pits already built. The road up to it is short, but it is very rocky. I visited in early April just for one night while I was passing through and saw no other campers, so its a decently secluded spot. No restrooms as well

Bugs and dust

Went past Meadview to the end of pierce ferry road. Looks like commercial rafting companies use this ramp for haul out. Found a primitive site with a fire ring to barbecue a hot dog. After sunset the moth invasion was intense. Used red light setting for head lights and that seemed to reduce the bug's. Moved up to pierce ferry airport road and got a milky way Panorama.

Serene.

This is a very small spot just off of the road. We wanted to stay close to the Skywalk (about 40min away) so we could get there early in the morning. We just pulled off and we're very glad we did. It's an absolutely beautiful spot with breathe taking views. So quiet and serene. There are no hookups, no restrooms, no showers. Just peace and quiet. I would not bring an RV down the short but rocky road. It was very tight and there was just enough room to turn around at the top. A tent or small pop-up would be best.
