Best RV Parks & Resorts near Dolan Springs, AZ

Several RV parks near Dolan Springs accommodate recreational vehicles of various sizes. Meadview RV Park offers 32 sites with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. "Wide, level spaces with bushes in between sites provide good privacy," noted one visitor. Tradewinds RV Park in Golden Valley features spacious corner lots with concrete patios and level gravel sites that can accommodate larger rigs. Katherine Landing North Campground provides year-round access with sanitary dump stations and trash service, though it lacks electric hookups. Chloride Western R.V. Park has 33 sites with both 30-amp and 50-amp electrical service options for smaller to mid-sized units.

Seasonal considerations affect availability throughout the area. Summer temperatures frequently exceed 100°F, making spring and fall the most comfortable periods for RV camping. Most parks accept pets with standard restrictions, though some like Cottonwood Cove Resort prohibit animals entirely. Cell service varies significantly by location, with strong signals in Golden Valley and Kingman but limited connectivity in canyon areas. Propane is available at select locations including Meadview RV Park, though prices tend to be higher than in larger towns. Pull-through sites for big rigs are most abundant at Riverside Casino and RV Park, where a recent review noted, "Really big spaces that can accommodate any size rig and a pickup or towed vehicle and then some."

    Colorado River Oasis RV Park

    Very well kept and pretty

Super nice RV resort in Bullhead city, I was blown away to find this little gem in this area. It's so well kept and plenty of room for the big rigs, Full hook-ups at every site(w/s/e) 20/30/50 amp, I noticed Concrete patios at most sites, oh, and did I mention they have FREE Wi-Fi throughout the park! Also FREE Cable TV! Very wide sites, with plenty of room for your slide-outs. I was impressed by how clean this park is and the level gravel throughout the park and RV sites. Everyone has access to their dope sandy beach and its free use for any guest to launch their boat. This place is pretty and filled with tropical landscaping. Another bonus is they offer a year-round swimming pool and hot tub and a clubhouse with kitchen facilities & TV, a fitness room, spotless restrooms& showers and I did notice laundry facilities. They do have Group rates as well just inquire with them.

They do have other little cabins or rooms to rent and some that overlook the water. super impressed by this entire place.

The park features spacious, level sites with full hookups and well-maintained facilities, including a laundry room and a dog park.

Las Vegas Bay Campground — Lake Mead National Recreation Area

    So Close, yet So Far

Quiet beautifully maintained campground with a dump station, portable water, spigots near restrooms and flush toilets. Firings and picnic tables at each site. Very few sites for rigs over 26’. A few larger sites are offered, but be certain to check what size can be accommodated. Most sites are wide enough to park a 26’ trailer and tow vehicle side-by-side. Some vegetation but not much shade. This is the desert! One beautiful trail about a mile and a half long starts behind campsite number 74.Just minutes from the city of Henderson with all the shopping you could ask for and a short distance but LOTS of traffic to the Las Vegas Strip. Hoover Dam is about 30 mins and Valley of Fire 1.3 hours.

Boulder Beach Campground — Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Boulder Campground Lake Mead RV Village

For camping at Lake Mead, this is as good as it gets!  Full hook-up sites with concrete slabs, picnic table, views of Lake Mead, and cell service too!  There are also manufactured/mobile homes with full-time residency, but the residents are very quiet and welcoming to visitors.  Lots to do in the area with biking/hiking trails and scenic overlooks in the near vicinity.

    Circle S Campground

a bit run down but decent

This place is open all year round rates they have nightly, weekly, and seasonal prices available, and depending on the number of people they add on to the price so call ahead of time. In the front in some tent spots nothing special at all about this place. They have ice machine, dump facilities, hookups -Electric 30/20/15 Amp, pet friendly, full phone service for any phone carrier, and a shower house.

Not much room between RV spaces and a lot of people live there full time, It a little run-down but it's affordable if you trying to just stop in for a short stay off of the main street. But you can do that at other places that are a little nicer for your money. I didn't personally stay here we were driving through Kingman and I wanted to check it out and I wouldn't say I would by any means I would stay here personally due to the cleanliness of facilities.

    Meadview RV Park

    Diamond in the Rough

Stumbled upon this gem when trying to get campground (CG) reservations near the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim, but none were to be found. Meadview is near the Grand Canyon West Rim and on the Arizona side of Lake Mead. The drive in from Kingman through Dolan Springs was very interesting and off the beaten path with Joshua trees everywhere as we drove into Meadview. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the very nice owner/manager who provided in-depth details on the area then escorted us to site 31 with FHUs. On this day, site 31 was a pull through since no one was in the site directly behind us. This is a no frills CG. It does have a shower house, laundry, and they sell firewood, propane, and ice. We were amazed at the dazzling views of the Grapevine Mountains and Grand Canyon West, which is about 35 minutes away. Grand Canyon West on the Hualapai reservation has the famous (we found out) SkyWalk. The Grand Canyon West is commercialized and a little on the pricey side. This area also has access to the Colorado River and quads/ATVs are also a thing here. The nearest major amenities are in Kingman about an hour away so stock up before you arrive. If you really want to get away from it all this quiet CG is your place.

Willow Beach Rv Park — Lake Mead National Recreation Area

    Great get away.

Stayed in site C3. A very clean and well maintained campground. Visited in December and spent 3 night. Full hook ups for all drive thru and back in camp sites. There are tent sites also and everything is well maintained. There are tables and fire pits  at all sites and lantern pole in all tent sites. Very quiet, within walking distance to Lake Mead, but all up hill on the way back. Great scenery, and a lot of recreational things at the marina.  Boat, kayak, paddleboard rentals are available. Fishing dock close by. Can even visit the fish hatchery up river, which is a short walk. Store with about everything you need and a small restaurant. Campground has showers and laundry. They take passes and the price is going up next season. But still a good deal especially with a pass. Reservations thru the Campground website. No cell service, but internet is available. Will be going back.
