Other nearby amenities include the Hemenway Harbor Fishing Pier and boat launch ramp. At the Las Vegas Boat Harbor or Lake Mead Marina you can rent a boat for a few hours or dine at the docks. Lake Mead Cruises is also nearby and offers cruises seasonally on the lake to the Hoover Dam and back. ~Air tour noise may be present at times throughout the day. Chloride Western R.V. Park is located in the old silver mining town of Chloride, AZ. We are known for being a clean and quiet park. The good news is that as of May 2022, we began accommodating overnight guests again! We are an Adult facility and we do not provide any accommodations for children. If you are coming in for an overnight stay and have children, you may certainly stay with us. One rule is that your child/children must be accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES, while you are staying with us. Our location is quite rural but we are not too far out that you cannot take a day trip. Please be aware that cell phone service is close to non-existent within the park. We have recently acquired Starlink Internet. If your cell will do wifi calling then it will work within our park. We have mostly long term tenants here but, we have a dry camp area and we set aside a few spaces for full hook ups. Please call if you are considering a visit. Please note that overnight campers will need cash. We do not have a set-up for debit/credit cards : (

    Mostly ok

Well the Camphost Bob is amazing. 1/2 of the campers are folks passing through and either keep to themselves or are kind. 1/4 are homeless from Vegas, that kept to themselves and then there was the one bad one that was supposedly passing through that went to jail. Just be mindful of your area and belongings.

    So Close, yet So Far

Quiet beautifully maintained campground with a dump station, portable water, spigots near restrooms and flush toilets. Firings and picnic tables at each site. Very few sites for rigs over 26’. A few larger sites are offered, but be certain to check what size can be accommodated. Most sites are wide enough to park a 26’ trailer and tow vehicle side-by-side. Some vegetation but not much shade. This is the desert! One beautiful trail about a mile and a half long starts behind campsite number 74.Just minutes from the city of Henderson with all the shopping you could ask for and a short distance but LOTS of traffic to the Las Vegas Strip. Hoover Dam is about 30 mins and Valley of Fire 1.3 hours.

    Beautiful and wild

We loved it here, stayed the one night to break up the journey. The directions are great, and there are two sites here, we stayed in the second. It was nice and level. The views were beautiful, and having all the space and quiet to ourselves was magical. Didn't see any snakes or other critters.

    Western Diamondback Rattlesnake

Seems like a beautiful setting but we ran into a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake within feet of the campsite. They are aggressive and fatal. We left to go find somewhere else. Be careful.

    Good

I visited this place last year in July when we decided to check out this casino, and I must say I really enjoyed it. Since I don't have the opportunity to visit such establishments in person anymore, I play online, and I have to say it's very convenient. I also want to share some advice from https://notgamstop.com/uk-gb/gamstop-faq/how-to-get-around-gamstop/ about bypass Gamstop, as I recently found it quite useful. In our time, this is a rather helpful topic, though it's not often discussed, so I recommend checking it out and keeping it in mind.

    Horrible

This campground is the worse in lake mead rec area! Nothing has been done, no lights in the bathroom half the toilets are half functional, the guys who drives around in his canam is always drunk an shirtless claims he is the maitance man for the area,

If you have children I do not recommend camping here better places for the same price. Las vagas bay! The parks service is a disgrace when it comes to keeping echo bay up to date will never return for my children to be exposed to drunk park employee,

The store is over priced an misleading as the sign says showers but you must stay at the rv park for those amenities this whole little campground is a joke! Most people don't even pay

Perfect for a quick overnight stay

The two spots are about 1.5 miles off the highway on a dirt road, you'll see a spot off the right on a narrow trail. BLM property. Free-roaming cows, didn't bother us at all. Beautiful sunset on our nights stay. The second spot is just around the first corner after the first one, less used, but probably flatter. Could hear the highway, but wasn't bothersome.

OK for larger Trailers and Rv

Great free camping located on Rte 66. Very clean. You must go through a gate to access camping. Be sure to close the gate. The site has lots of places to pick for car and van camping. There are only a few that would fit larger travel trailers. I would check it out before accessing the spots up the hill. We stayed one night down low with no problems in mid May.

    Pull off spot

Great little pull off camp spot. I wouldn’t spend more than one night here. The cows are super cute to wake up to. I didn’t smell them at all. The road is a little washboard and there aren’t a lot of good turn around spots. Overall very happy with the spot. It was quiet and perfect for a road trip camp spot.

    Lovely park

I stayed here 2 winters, and I love this park. It's in the middle of the desert, between two great towns. It's really quiet, no light pollution at night so you can see the Milky Way, the mountain views are spectacular everywhere you look, and if you're a rockhound like myself, this area is a little piece of heaven. This park is managed by some of the nicest, most accommodating people I've met in my almost 6 years full time running around the country. The bathrooms and laundry rooms are always sparking clean, the clubhouse has a homey community feel, this place is just awesome. I couldn't say enough good things about it. I'll be going back for a month next week, in fact. Two winters so I now have friends I wanna visit🥰

    Nice stop

Nice for an overnight stop but we stayed about a week. Narrow sites for big rig parking but they were long enough. Our site sloped forward but we managed. No gravel, dirt; it is the desert. Pleasant staff. A whole lot of birds in the bushes and trees chirping as the sun came up.

    Lower CG review

The lower CG is bigger but most sites are very small and suitable for tenters, the sites on the open lower end (13-20) are best for TTs and RVs, but no shade. CG has dumpsters, water but no cell signal, whereas the upper CG does get a cell signal. Sites are now cashless and you can either reserve or pay online as you choose a site, no FCFS like previous years. Guess you need to go up to upper CG to get cell though? This lower CG is close to the marina mini Mart store.
