They have bathrooms, showers, RV hook ups, laundry and propane services. A lot of people I believe reside here long term, but if your trying to see the back side of Grand Canyon this is your spot. Across the street is a neat turquoise store you should check out and they have property for cheap out there.. you see signs the entire drive... nothing special but if you need it than it’s here...
Don Laughlin’s Riverside RV Park Resort offers a prime location along the Colorado River with convenient access to all the entertainment and amenities of the Riverside Resort.
The park features spacious, level sites with full hookups and well-maintained facilities, including a laundry room and a dog park.
Guests can enjoy shuttle service to the casino, restaurants, and movie theater, making it a great blend of outdoor relaxation and vibrant nightlife.
Its proximity to the river also provides opportunities for boating, fishing, and scenic views, making it an excellent destination for travelers seeking both recreation and comfort.
Some of the best campground restrooms. Full hookups & affordable long term rates.
This RV park is more long term residents, but they have iver nigt spots. all the streets are nicely paved throughout, leveled RV sites over 100 total RV sites(8 overnight sites), alot of trees which gives you alot of privacy,a nice outdoor swimming pool, picnic tables, full hookups, 30/50 amp, dump station, pull thrus, Wi-Fi, handicap accessible showers, restrooms, laundry, vending machines, propane, dog walk and obvisouly pet friendly.
Super nice and well kept park for it being a bit older. The location is close to alot of things going on from route 66 to hiking trails.
They offer alot of discounts so check out before your arrival or when you arrive.
overall a really nice RV park.
Talk about well maintained and up kept. Little dog buckets throughout park so it’s easy for you to clean up after your pets and the bucket is cleaned multiple times a day.
This resort is Mostly for the snow birds who want to stay warm throughout the winter... however they do have spots available for daily and weekly rates but call ahead because they fill up quickly.
This location has a nice pool and laundry room.
Silver View RV resort has a full general store and they serve ice cream too!!
Roads are paved and RV slots are dirt but they do come with full hook ups and little wood tables at each spot. Paved parking near and in front of the store as well for guest or anything else you need it for.
Super nice RV resort in Bullhead city, I was blown away to find this little gem in this area. It's so well kept and plenty of room for the big rigs, Full hook-ups at every site(w/s/e) 20/30/50 amp, I noticed Concrete patios at most sites, oh, and did I mention they have FREE Wi-Fi throughout the park! Also FREE Cable TV! Very wide sites, with plenty of room for your slide-outs. I was impressed by how clean this park is and the level gravel throughout the park and RV sites. Everyone has access to their dope sandy beach and its free use for any guest to launch their boat. This place is pretty and filled with tropical landscaping. Another bonus is they offer a year-round swimming pool and hot tub and a clubhouse with kitchen facilities & TV, a fitness room, spotless restrooms& showers and I did notice laundry facilities. They do have Group rates as well just inquire with them.
They do have other little cabins or rooms to rent and some that overlook the water. super impressed by this entire place.
Had a wonderful stay at this RV park. Has a wonderful staff and very friendly. Full hook-ups make the stay very convenient and comfortable, not only the cost is very reasonable. Dogs enjoyed the dog park and the old farm equipment made the place very rustic.
This is more of a month to month residential RV park if you check in with Mike who runs the place and your in a bind I’m sure he will work with you for weekly or whatever you may need. But super clean, full hook ups, and they have a pool.
Tried to inquire some information but not able to get anybody in front office. Was told another resident that lots are for purchase. Place used to be called Red Mountain RV Resort. Each lot was customized, so not sure if you are able to purchase daily. Recommend contacting park for more info. They did have pool, laundry facilities and full hookups.
My husband and I stayed here with our dog and cat and had an amazing time. We stayed at the south beach area , dry camping, and we were the only people out there! It was very peaceful and safe. They have quarter operated showers and laundry on site as well. They offer a wide variety of ways to stay also. There are cabins, full hookup sites, long term sites and dry camping.
There are two ways to camp at the Riverside. There is an RV park across Casino drive with full hook ups and the other amenities' associated with an rv park including propane at the Nov 2024 price of $4.35 a gallon.
Across the street in the casino parking lot next to the road is dry camping area. Free for seven days and more if you play the games and get 25 points a week. Numbered spaces that accomodate any size rig. Upon arrival pick an open site and park. Go to the group check in desk at the south tower (closet one). It's just inside the door. They will have security come to your rig and check your vehicle license and insurance are current. Then TAKE THE FORM the officer gives you back to the group check in desk (I know. It's a long walk) to complete your check in. Oh. And you have to have a casino players card to stay. Generators from 7 to 10. Enjoy your stay and good luck
Don Laughlin knows how to do things right.
he has a HUGE, spotless, massive, 740 Space, RV Park.
The good news is its Open 365 days a year, Riverside RV Park offers amazing views of mountains, sunrises, and sunsets. each space includes full hook-up and 30 or 50 amp service.
The RV Park Staff are on it, nice and ready to help. It gets hot here... but thank goodness they have a pool. All types of pools, some for adults and some for families.
They have a lot of amenities plus if you want to gamble walk across the street to his casino and spend it on up. Rentals from boats to jetskis are all nearby.
They have taxi boat services if you want to get over to the Arizona side of the river.
on top of that, they do offer a 24-hour shuttle for RV Park Guests.
They do have mail services I would just contact them to find out what you need. They have all different types of time frames you can stay with them
Showers available and bathrooms too.
Each row of this RV site has little height difference so everyone gets a great view.
They have plenty of restaurants nearby and a personal favorite of mine is the Mexican restaurant on the corner, they do a good fajita and margaritas.
Laughlin is pretty neat that's for sure... don't forget to walk the boardwalk and enjoy all the bugs flying in your mouth hahha.
cheers
Right, when you pull off the main boulevard this is the first park you see on the right.
This park has long term rentals, monthly rentals for 435.00, 150.00 weekly prices, and a low cost of $25.00 for daily rental spaces.
This park offers Full hook-ups for RVs; they do not offer specific tent areas but you can ask and they will rent you an area if all you had was a tent.
Crystal clear blue swimming pool, why not take a dive and enjoy the water. It's hot as can be in Bullhead City so you are going to want to make sure you have a nice cold pool to cool you off.
They have ice machines, mail services, newspapers delivered daily, a laundry room, nice grass areas for picnics and areas for your doggies, payphones, a community BBQ grill, and a nice hot jacuzzi.
Here are my star ratings based on my lifestyle and based on what I like. I'm also a mother, dog mama, and a wife so it's not just me it's my crew and i. 1 star- AUTOMATIC relocate… the property is no longer there, trashed or/and I could never have my children there and I wouldn't ever think about staying no matter what OR it is not something our campers are on this is more of an Airbnb. 2 star- Not really my jam, and would NEVER go to again… It probably more of desert life and not really my style for sure…Being from Vegas I can't stand being in the desert and I love the Trees and the Green more than anything. Not to mention not much to do for my children so…. not where i would need to go again 3 star- Would stay there again in a pinch, but not really my style, the reason its not is because not enough family things to do, the scenery, or the location… but I would go again and feel safe having my kiddos here but only if I needed to in a pinch. 4 star- a really good rating for sure, maybe needed some improvements, minor things like being on top of each other, not a lot of privacy, but honestly little cosmetic things that aren't anything to sweat and would be back again for sure. 5 star- MY FAVORITE… love the location, safety, the surroundings, big camp spots available to fit toys for my kids to play, hammocks to hang, our big family tent, cases of firewood, our suburban or RV, etcccccc….. I would not only come back but would live if I could!!! Anyway thanks for reading and enjoy every moment like it's your last! CHEERS!
As an alternative to the NPS campground across the road, this mobile home park has some full hookup RV spots in the rear of the mobile home park next to the laundry/restrooms. Note that the restrooms/showers are closed but laundry is open. Office staff said campers from the NPS campground can use the laundry. Cost for RV as of Feb 2022 was only $29.38 for full hookups. Only about 9-10 sites are available for RVs and reservations are required either online or in the office upstairs at the Callville Bay Store. No tents, no open fires, no wifi. However, cell signal is very good on Verizon, TMobile and ATT due to the cell antennas by the NPS water tanks above the NPS campground.
I wanted to find a site as close to Oatman as I could. It took me three trips that way to find this campground and finally I was happy I did. Located only about 8 miles away from Oatman, it allowed me to have a full day to explore Oatman and surrounding areas including the many mines which are closed but "open" to the person wanting to really explore.
This place is a smaller park and though mostly they do have RV campers they do accept tent campers. The owners are very friendly and you meet them when you check in, this is not a chain so they take pride in what they give in way of service to those passing through.
My space was clean and level for camping in a tent. I only paid $15 which was very reasonable and like I said location was key!! My site had a picnic table and was pretty basic but it was peaceful and I had a great night there as a result.
They do offer long term RV camping at a very reasonable rate, however when I was there it didn't look like they had a ton of that traffic at the time. I will say that unlike a lot of long term lots which appear to be a bit trashy this one was maintained.
TIPS:
Use this as a basecamp for going to Oatman where there are a lot of stores, a great cafe, mines to explore and of course pictures to take.
Bring what you need with you. The closest full grocer is in Kingman which is about 25 minutes away so if you don't want to have to drive into town then just pack it in your car.
First, there are two areas. The RV park and the campground. The RV park has all your amenities and full hookups. Store, propane and great views of Lake Mead. If you are able to reserve a rv pad nearest the lake, you will be in for a treat. All spots have full hookup and picnic table. You have full unobstructed view of the lake from these pads.
The campground is separate from the RV park, but located directly next to it...really adjoining. Separate fees go to the National Park for camping. Currently, showers are not running. Has many pull thrus for rigs, as well as tent camping. Plenty of shade and spaces are not to close.
Decent location for dry camping. Only one loop of a few spots open so not sure if the others are new or closed foe the time of year.
There are three locations for RV parking. For the upper and lower Echo Bay campgrounds. These are drying camping spots. Across from the Echo Bay is an RV park with full hookups.
You will definitely want an RV in the summer months. Temperatures well exceeded 100 degrees F. RV park has full hookups and amazing views. Very close to the river and marina. Camp store is well stocked. Fuel available as well. Grill is well priced. Great experience and favorite kayaking spot near las vegas.
This Rv Resort is one of the nicest my husband and I have stayed at.
We came the fall of 2020 through april 2021 and again this year. The office staff are always pleasant and very helpful.
So many activities to do, that if you are bored that is your own fault.
I love the Library, as i love to read. Being able to use the kitchen was so helpful at christmas time.
This is a park worth staying at.
I highly recommend staying here at Vista Del Sol.
You are out in the middle of nowhere basically so you can’t expect much, and that’s exactly what you get. Charged $35 the first night no receipt provided, then I got wise and asked for $20 the next night. So yeah just offer them that in the first place. Very long term looking place, kind of meth head looking .....so if no other choice, stay here. At least you’ll have electricity, sewer, water, bathroom and sketchy showers.
We headed to the Kingman KOA during the KOA customer appreciation weekend. We've always enjoyed the consistency of the KOA experience and this spot fell right in line. The staff was very friendly and the grounds were clean and well maintained. My full hook up site was close to our neighbors but the hedge rows in between them have us a nice private setting. Bathrooms were clean and the dog park was nicely maintained.
There are multiple levels to this RV park. This place is pretty big. You can get spots right on the strip close to casinos, move up higher for a little strip/river view, or to the top if the park for river and valley views. Spots closest to strip are mostly uncovered, but moving up, there are many green areas and spots to get under a tree. With the heat in the summer, you will want some shade. Has all the amenities you want and everything is walking distance on the main blvd. Great area to walk into the mix of what Laughlin has for casinos or concerts. Full hookups, pool, laundry and walking to casinos.
Wooded campground with some full hook up sites. Large playground for kids. Lots of wildlife and rzr trails.
We spent a week at Blake Ranch RV Park and enjoyed it a lot. We arrived after hours, but our check in papers and map of the park were easily located at the office. We met the staff the next morning and they were all really friendly, and suggested some sites we see while we were in the area. The RV spots were large, flat and easy to get into with enough room to park our truck after we unhooked. The park was within 1/4 mile of a travel center with easy interstate access. During our stay at Blake Ranch we took advantage of the little store, propane fill up and laundry facilities. The park was well kept, clean, and quiet. If you're going to be staying near Kingman I highly recommend this RV Park.
We stayed here to try out our new trailer. It is a mix of camping sites and vacation homes. The sites are all clean, and have full hook ups. Picnic table, fire pit ring and stand up grill. Staff is really nice. Full restroom with a clean shower and laundry mat. Less than a mile walk to the lake.
This is a fairly new camping area. Offers full hook ups as well as tent only camping. Landscaping and spacing is really nicely done. Camp ground also offers clean toilet and shower area accessible only by keycard. You get the key card when you check in. Also has a laundry facility. The Marina offers boat, kayak, canoe and paddle board rentals but reserve in advance!! Advance reservations for full hook up is also a must! Campground is quite. All sites have a picnic table and campfire ring. Tent sites also have poll for lamp. Small store at marina offers bait, food for camping souvenirs and firewood. Also a restaurant with a full service bar. Must wear face mask to go into either.
Ranger Review: Midland X-Talker Two-way Radios at Cottonwood Cove Lower Campground, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, NV
CAMPGROUND REVIEW
Cottonwood Cove Lower Campground is located 14 miles east of Searchlight, NV, on the shores of Lake Mohave. The decent into Cottonwood Cove is quite dramatic (about 2900 ft), for which the roadside cactus can attest, as the types of cacti change even with the slightest elevation change.
The "lower" in Cottonwood Cove Lower Campground's name characterizes it's lower elevation compared to the "upper" campground, which naturally has higher elevation.
Cottonwood Cove Lower Campground is included in Lake Mead National Recreation Area campgrounds, and keeping with their custom, all sites are first come first serve. The Cottonwood Cove area has low elevation, at about 650 feet above sea level, which means it gets very hot during the late spring, summer, and early fall months.
Only a few of the 45 sites have shady cottonwood trees, and there are only uncovered picnic tables, so come prepared with a shade canopy for much needed relief! There are beautiful views of Lake Mohave, three very clean restroom buildings (no showers), water on taps, and fire rings at every site. There is an RV dump station located near the entrance to the Upper Campground (although the Upper Campground is closed).
The Lower Campground is situated behind a hill, which obstructs cell service. Walking only a short distance to the marina area, you'll find a strong 4G signal. The park service provides fee-based internet at the campground, but we didn't try it.
Cottonwood Cove has a full service boat marina, gas, motel, RV resort (with full hook-ups), watercraft rentals/supplies, sandy beach, and shaded picnic tables with BBQs.
Here's a drive-along tour of Cottonwood Cove Lower Campground: https://youtu.be/s6AQ6KqtxPg
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this campground. It was a peaceful place, with jackrabbits, a couple of hungry ducks, many songbirds, and the stars at night were bright & beautiful. 4 stars (not 5 stars due to lack of provided shade).
PRODUCT REVIEW
As a Ranger for The Dyrt, I get products to test from time to time. While camping at Cottonwood Cove Lower Campground, we tested Midland X-Talker Two-way Radios (model T51).
https://midlandusa.com/product/x-talker-t51vp/
Camping in an isolated area behind a large hill was the perfect place to review these radios. However, with the hill as an obstruction our range was limited. [Note: We also tried these radios at home, and our maximum range was 3 small neighborhood blocks. Perhaps to achieve the maximum range of "28 miles," you'd need to be on the open ocean on a calm day or out on a very flat prairie.]
Here's a video demonstration of the Midland X-Talker Two-way Radios:
As you can see in our review video, we compared the Midland radios with a very inexpensive set. Midland's quality is far superior.
The Midland's instruction booklet is easy to follow, buttons are easy to operate, radio is comfortable to hold, and the belt clip is very tight (exercise care unlatching to prevent breaking). And… the NOAA Weather Radio scan was our biggest surprise, as you'll see in this video:
The radios can be charged while positioned on the charging stand or via a charging cord plugged directly into the radio and to an electrical source (such as a portable power bank).
Overall, we are very impressed with the clear reception and convenience of the Midland X-Talker Two-way Radios. We are looking forward to using these radios during our future no-cell service camping, fishing, and hiking adventures. 5 stars
Great fir overnight stay. Full hook up $47 which we thought reasonable. Concrete and gravel we had a flat site. We used the lending library for a couple of videos we had not seen!
