The quiet mining town of Chloride provides a base for RV travelers seeking full hookups in Arizona's desert country. This private park accommodates rigs up to 50 feet with electric, water, and sewer connections, plus WiFi access for $25-45 per night.
Level sites and clean facilities earn consistent praise from visitors. "This place is great! It is super clean and the spots are big and level," notes one reviewer, highlighting the 24-hour laundry and bathroom access. The park hosts a mix of overnight guests and full-time residents, creating a community atmosphere that stays relatively quiet. Cell service proves spotty, making the included WiFi a practical necessity.
Campers can walk directly into Chloride's historic downtown area, where a small general store, restaurant (open Thursday through Sunday), and mining-era buildings provide exploration opportunities. The surrounding desert offers ATV riding access to old mining sites, though recent rains can make some roads challenging. Windy Point Campground sits just northeast for those preferring developed camping without hookups.
Reservations help secure spots during busy periods, and the on-site hosts provide helpful local knowledge for planning desert excursions.
