WELCOME TO SONORAN DESERT RV PARK After a day of rolling through the dramatic and diverse Sonoran Desert, you can roll your rig right into this oasis in the desert. It's so convenient with the easy-on/easy-off access from both I-8 and AZ 85. The campground was built for RVers by RVers and it shows: You'll find roomy, 100 foot full-hookup pull-thru sites throughout the park - all big rig friendly! Relax by the heated pool or just soak up the desert views and dark evening skies from your site. Fido will love the 4,000-square-foot Canine Corral with three separate corrals (two with grassy areas). Although you're just an hour from Phoenix, you'll feel worlds away as you savor a brilliant sunset at day's end. The Sonoran Desert RV Park prides itself in offering a quiet atmosphere in the evenings for all to get a good night sleep by asking everyone to retire into their RV's by 10pm.

The Saguaro Skies FamCamp is a great place to reduce the high cost of vacations, weekend excursions, PCS moves, TDY, and leave travel. The whole family can enjoy the benefits of travel, sightseeing, and outdoor recreation while keeping expenses to a minimum.
Nightly rate is $35; two adults and minor children (under 18) are authorized. More than two adults must be authorized by office and may incur additional fees.
61 sites total with 4 ADA (handicap plate or placard) sites. All sites are 10’ x 60’ (ADA sites 20’ x 60’) All sites are pull through and provide 20/30/50 amp, water, and sewer hookups. Free Laundry, showers in the restrooms, and Wi Fi in the lounge area.

We stayed in a deluxe pull-through for two days. Our site has a small fenced-in play area for our mutt. The shower house and laundry were newer, had plenty of room, and were very clean.

We chose to keep going until we hit actual BLM land, maybe one mile from the highway. The views were phenomenal and very little noise. The moon and stars were beautiful too.
It looked like there was BLM land on the North side of I8, which we’ll check out the next time we pass through here.
Even though the road is a little bumpy, any rig and trailer can make it!

From what i gather, some dimbasses were taking pit shots at the free roam cattle...I guess they thought they were not owned. Regardless, we had been there about a week when we were abruptly told to pack up and get out of here. So I did. Liked the spots though.
TravelerThe campsite is good, quiet, easily accessible and I met some friendly neighbors. I love all the cacti as well. There is quite a bit of trash and glass around. Full Verizon cell service and nice warm weather in December.

The road in is a little rough, but ok. Two week stay limit, but that's pretty standard for BLM properties. There's no facilities so be prepared. Good level land and plenty of room. Wild burros wander through occasionally, and coyotes make their presence known as well. Fantastic views and quiet atmosphere, so far. Been here two nights and plan to stay for at least another week.
ScoutCoordinates led to a cattle guard that is fenced closed. No access to the site. You could park next to the road though.

This is a huge park. 1365 sites. Crammed in pretty tight, but fairly clean and very nice staff. Most of the sites are pull thru so that’s a bonus.
TravelerThis place is right off the highway. Plenty of level places to park. We drive a van but I think most sizes of RV would have no trouble here. Lots of room to turn around. Pretty view of the mountains. There's highway noise but we were all alone.

We’ve stayed here several times and roadrunner campground is my favorite because it’s up above the lake and has a beautiful view. There are several poles through spots as well as back and spots. Electric and water are available. Showers are so so. Spots are fairly level and paved.

TravelerArea is marked and needs permit as well. As a foreigner I can't buy the permit online since only US address can be entered and will be reverted for the credit card payment so no way to stay there legally.
Maybe going in person or call them can get me a permit but yeah not this way.
Anyway the spot is nice and levelled if it would be usable 🙂

We stayed Mid May, ghost town, everyone who could had left. All felt kind of desolate.
RV site had everything water, sewer and electric. Lots of weeds and nothing else.
Showers adequate, Clubhouse house even sported its own large kitchen! People playing cards in an adjoining room were rude.
Only necessity could make me return! Paid for 2 nights & LEFT after one.

Very large park with many different levels of camping experiences. From dry camping to full on glamping ! I stayed at Vista Pt. Dry camp. The views were beautiful. I stayed 10 days and as a single women I felt very safe. Security makes it's rounds and you can't get into the park after leaving without your pass. The one thing I would mention the drive up to the PT is rather steep, but there were different sized rigs up there is it is doable. I didn't use the amenities as I was away most days visiting with my daughter who lives in the valley.

ScoutMy wife and I had the time of our life staying at stardust trailer park. It is located really close to 2 fun biker bars, we stayed for a month and just happened to be there during bike week. The energy and vibes were immaculate. Property is well kept with clean bathrooms and a friendly manager.
TravelerState land trust, good spot for a few nights. Gunshots in the distance, but no incidents/casualties lol. Pulled my 31ft TT back into a spot for a week. Close 10 min drive to stores like WinCo and Safeway and gas stations. Quite weekdays, loud weekends due to motor vehicles breaking the rules. (Not a ohv area but treated as such)

LegendOur RV GPS and Waze took us right to this very nice campground(CG). Check-in was quick, and we were escorted to back-in site 503 with FHUs. The sites here are long and wide enough for our 40’ fifth wheel and F450 truck. The sites in our area were also decently spaced for a private CG. There was also room for an OHV if we’d brought one. The guest WiFi works pretty well with a download of 6.73 and an upload of.92. Water pressure was good at 50 psi, and we got 4 bars on Verizon. There are a few trees in the CG, but we had a clear shot of the northern sky for Starlink. They also have cable, but we didn’t use it. They had a very nice 4000 sq ft, sectioned-off dog park with two of the areas/corrals having grass. Behind the show/laundry/pool facility is where you drop off your propane tank for fills. They do not have a propane service that comes to the site. We were also impressed with their PETHouse sites where you have a private dog run. Their laundry facility was larger than most CGs of this size and it was very clean. There’s also a wash pad where you can wash your OHV or truck. Gilla Bend has a Family Dollar and a couple of small grocery stores plus eating establishments. You’re about 30 minutes from major amenities in Buckeye and an hour from Phoenix. We stayed here with friends for 4 nights and enjoyed ourselves.
