Narrow twisting roads lead to the lower level camping area, nice pull through, wish there was more information about local attractions. We stayed 3 nights very quiet camp site. I appreciate the improvements in the Campground. Everyone we encountered was very nice and friendly. No cell service or…
Cheaha was such a pleasant surprise. More like a resort, this park had tent camping, RV camping, a pool, a lake, cabins, a playground, and a restaurant with a view. We had a little trouble with the upper tent sites not being level because we have a roof top tent, but we were able to switch our site…

This was our first time to Noccalula State Park. The park is an urban oasis just outside of Gadsden. It is gated. The campground has concrete pads, mostly back in, some shade trees, little grass around the camp sites. Can get very muddy during rains. All have picnic tables and scattered grills. The…
Family friendly with ingrown pool , hiking trails and Falls park
The sites are well maintained. They have concrete pads. Water and power hookups (the larger sites have sewer). Decent WIFI on the property. The bathrooms and showers are the cleanest we've ever seen. And the pool is a definite plus.
The park is a lot of fun for all ages and the cost is very low.
We got to the camp ground late (and it was pouring rain!) and we let them know way in advance we'll be arriving late, they said it was fine and they'll be expecting us. We even called them multiple times when we got to the gate, but nobody picked up. So we decided to drive in quickly after another…
This is a great place for families to come for a fun time. They have plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. There’s a kiddie pool and a big kid pool, a jump pad and an inflatable slide, a nice playground, and a small arcade that’s affordable. The office staff is great and helpful. The only…
We camp here a good bit and is cheap and has lost of room to spread out and camp.
We came for the memorial day weekend and the week afterwards. The park was full but also still peaceful and quiet in the primitive camping area.

We are staying for Memorial Day weekend. It’s our first time here and it’s really not that bad! Easier to navigate in my opinion that others say. Staff is really nice and welcoming. The sites are a little tighter than most places. Especially in the RV section. We are tent camping and have plenty of…

It was a good camping trip and the camp grounds were really nice and clean
Had a great time we primitive tent camped toilets where very clean non drinking pump close by. Will be back soon
Lots of open space, trees, by a river. Clean bath house with hot showers. Right on Chief Ladiga Rail trail about 6 miles west of AL/GA border. We road east, will come back to ride west segment. Dark at night for star gazing. Friendly folks.
Cheaha is great for year round camping. Some of the states best hiking trails. Best time to hike is Winter (IMO) when the leaves are mostly gone and you have great views all around. Also trails for mtn. biking. Campgrounds are in great shape with clean bath houses. I’ve camped at both lower and…

Had a great time. What was going to be 3 day trip, turned into 6. So many trails and waterfalls to find.
