Over all..decent at the best

Was told things on the phone that later became untrue upon my visit. Staff on phone was pleasant, staff in person, just ok. Was also told i would receive a refund for the trouble of everything…never received it and when I ask later, the lady played dumb as if she never told me. So in all, camp at your own will…

Great escape for a weekend trip

The campground is well kept with great Wi-Fi and relatively quiet. Most RV sites have little to no shade with a few shady spots on the creek side. Down side: water pressure was slightly over 40 psi which made my water pump run continuously until I just shut it off.

A nice weekend

Quiet campground on Cedar Creek. The spots by the office are close to the highway, but it isn’t that busy or loud. Very family oriented and peaceful.

The only bad thing …. the flies! Bring fly traps.

No cable television, but the internet was more than capable of streaming with AppleTV.

Nice quiet campground along a nice quiet stream

We parked our 22ft travel trailer at site 30 which was bounded to the north and east by the tent camping area.  There was heavy storms for several days before our arrival which is why there are no tent campers in our photo.  We had the whole tent area to play games in.  While the RV sites aren't very private, there is plenty of space to escape your neighbor.  The nice gurgling stream (Big Cedar Creek) bounds the campground to the east and is a nice walk through a mowed/maintained field.  The edge of the stream was nicely shaded with multiple picnic tables for everyone's use.  Due to the bad weather, we missed out on the haunted woods that the campground staff setup, but it did look like they put a lot of effort into the Halloween festivities.  Unfortunately, we also missed out on the little RV/Camping Store which looked to be really well stocked.

We will definitely return if/when we're in that area again.

What a beautiful place

This place is so quiet and peaceful. We fully enjoyed be able to relax by the creek and watch the water flow by. If you are looking for a quiet, reflective park this is the place. There are some pull-thru spots, but we opted for the creek view and you should too! The reason for the 4 stars is there is free WiFi, but it is more for show than for use; very slow and unreliable. Also, the shower rooms are much in need of an update and be more available. We highly recommend this park for everyone to enjoy.

Fabulous people

This campground is simple, but offers a great experience on the water. They have kayaks to rent, and a shuttle. You can try out and buy kayaks there, too. The owners are stewards of the waterways, and led by God.

Not far from home

Great little place to camp on the river. Family friendly and awesome river but crowded sites and bath house is poorly located and not big enough to accommodate the campground. Not far from cave springs though. If you love kayaking this could be a potential spot for you.
