Kid Paradise

If you have little ones this is for them. A little bit of everything from pools to zip lines. Very detailed itinerary list of times for activities for the kiddos. However if your wanting a peaceful place to stop and stay the night, probably not the best spot. They have gravel pads or pay a little extra for the deluxe concrete pad.

Great place for kids

Friendly service with all the hooks ups. They have a great area for young kids to play if you have a family. The showers are clean and the campsites we're as well. One thing that lowered the score was that everyone is packed in when the place is busy, thus the camping experience lowers some.

Great place for family fun

This is a great place for families to come for a fun time. They have plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. There’s a kiddie pool and a big kid pool, a jump pad and an inflatable slide, a nice playground, and a small arcade that’s affordable. The office staff is great and helpful. The only drawbacks are the loud train that runs through town that goes all day and all night, and the office closes at 6 that is also a store.

Fun for kids

My kids loved the open activities at Jellystone! They bounced on the jump pad, went down the new bounce slide, enjoyed the playground, and the pools. I do wish they had the heaters on in the pool, even though it was hot out, the pools were ice cold.

We were there during superhero weekend and they had activities every hour for the kids! The laundry room was nice, and the trading post had everything you may need from souvenirs to camping supplies.

Our site was long and narrow, easy to pull into for the week we were there.

The train near by is VERY loud though, it comes by morning noon and night.

Good stop for night

Overall: A

The Good: the site connections were all available, even in late December. The upper loop road for the small campers was super clean and quiet. The bathhouse was a pleasant surprise. They were spacious, warm and clean.

The Not So Great: the site location, while close to the interstate was via some smaller mostly residential streets. The back loop road appeared to be where the long term rentals were located and was much more cluttered and less presentable.

No Assessment: there were several other amenities that we didn’t have the opportunity to use that appeared nice, clean, and accessible.

Ok but management could be better

Price is a bit high considering electricity is not included. They also charged $25 per person a month above 2 people which adds up when you have 3 children. They have a pool, playground, activity center where they do arts and crafts and activities, clean laundry and bath facilities, and some other amenities geared towards children and families. However, the downside was the high cost of electricity and the issue I had at check out. When coming in as a monthly rental they do background checks on every adult. They offered to wave the fees for me and my husband but when it came time to check out the manager was very confrontational and acted like I was lying when he tried to charge me and I told him I was told the fees were waved. After being treated so poorly he called around to other employees and discovered I was actually not supposed to be charged. No apology or change of temperament, just justified his actions by saying “I’m the boss and supposed to ok things like that around here.” Management could definitely be improved.
