At The Dyrt, we share camping tips from our community of campers and campgrounds. With so many campers staying home, we continue to share this info so you can plan future camping trips across the U.S.

Dogs and cats don’t always see eye to eye. But when you share a passion for camping, friendship is bound to flourish. Here’s to hoping you’re inspired to bring your pets camping on your next trip.

We all want a friendship like Henry and Baloo’s

Baloo (the cat) and Henry (the dog) are best friends who love to camp and hike with their human. Baloo is a new addition to the family, and right away, he insisted on tagging along for camping adventures. “He LOVES the outdoors + will cry if we don’t take him on our walks with Henry,” writes their owner who shares all of these adorable photos of her pets camping on Instagram.

Do you get outdoors and bring your pets camping? The Dyrt campers are on a roll with sharing their #DyrtDogs photos, and we’d love to start seeing some #DyrtCats, too. Tag your photos on Instagram, or share them with campground reviews on The Dyrt!Β

    Britany Robinson

Britany is the Managing Editor of The Dyrt. She's been a writer ever since she can remember, and her first literary accomplishment was having a poem about a panda published when she was eight. The anthology was definitely a scam to get her parents to buy a bunch of anthologies, but she's still pretty proud of her panda poem. When she's not at her computer, she's (hopefully) outside, hiking or camping with her dog.
