At The Dyrt, we share camping tips from our community of campers and campgrounds. With so many campers staying home, we continue to share this info so you can plan future camping trips across the U.S.

Kevin and I recently returned from Outdoor Retailer (the largest retailer show for the outdoor industry, often referred to as OR) and we’ve fallen in love with a few new camping products.

I discovered some great camping and outdoor-related products and will be highlighting them over the next few months. I was thrilled that one of the first companies we came across was Windcatcher, a local Portland business.

Imagine inflating your camping pad with just a few quick exhales into open air. No huffing and puffing, no putting your mouth on a valve of questionable cleanliness. Yes, it’s real: it’s the Windcatcher Air Pad. It literally inflates in seconds with no power or pumping, and deflates just as easily.
