Despite its modest size, the June Lake campground is quite accommodating, with campsites spread across a few overlapping loops, as well as drinking water, flush toilets, and bear-proof food storage bins.
You’ll find fishing, canoeing, boating, and nature walking very convenient around the lake. There are many trails nearby, attracting mountain bikers and off-road vehicle enthusiasts. You can walk to June Lake’s gift shops, supermarkets, and restaurants.

2. Silver Lake Campground

You can enjoy proximity to June Lake and Silver Lake by camping at Silver Lake Campground. Silver Lake offers boating, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding opportunities. Rush Creek is a popular fly fishing spot for rainbow trout, and June Lake is only a short drive away.
Many sites offer Rush Creek and Silver Lake scenic views, and others are exposed to the elements. Tents, vans, and RVs up to 40′ are allowed at all 63 sites. However, there are no hookups available.

3. Oh! Ridge Campground

Oh! Ridge Campground is a popular place for families and fishermen. Families can easily walk to the beach, while fishermen can get out on the water early. Most of the campground’s sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs of up to 30′. Each site has picnic tables, grills, barbeques, and food storage lockers.
For those bringing RVs, there are no hookups, but there are water spigots everywhere to fill up your tanks, and you can find a dump station in the town of June Lake. The campground has drinking water and flush toilets, as well as an amphitheater.

4. Pine Cliff Resort

Pine Cliff Resort is another campground located right next to June Lake, surrounded by an abundance of pine trees and passing wildlife. The campground only offers 20-amp hookups for RVs throughout their sites.
The resort also offers showers, bathrooms, a general store, gas, propane, and a laundry room. You do need to call in for a reservation as they only take reservations over the phone.

5. June Lake RV Park

Despite the name, June Lake RV Park is located between Gull Lake and June Lake, so you can visit either lake and enjoy what each one has to offer. The campground has hookups for all your recreational needs: sewer, water, and electricity. The site also offers cable TV, a fish cleaning station, and a laundry room.
The campgrounds have 30/20/15 amps hookups, with 4 sites offering 50-amp hookups. They can accommodate RVs up to 35’. If you have friends and family who do not have their RVs, they also have on-site lodging.

6. Gull Lake Campground

Next to June Lake is Gull Lake, which offers nearly the same activities and peace within the June Lake Loop. If you are looking to explore Gull Lake, you can set up camp at Gull Lake Campground. The campground has 11 campsites that are big enough for a 30’ vehicle. Each site is equipped with a bear-proof locker to keep your food and trash safe. There is running water and flush toilets.
Some sites face Gull Lake, while some are on the campground road across from the lake. Gull Lake Campground is the smallest campground in the June Lake area, but they make up for stunning views and access to Gull Lake Marina for boat rentals.

7. Reversed Creek Campground

Reversed Creek Campground is another campground near Gull Lake along the June Lake Loop. Each of the 16 campsites can accommodate tents, trailers, or RVs up to 30’. A few pull-through spots allow trailers up to 45’. Despite being well-shaded and well positioned, the sites are near a road.
The June Mountain Ski Resort, Gull Lake, boat ramps, and a marina with boat rentals are nearby. Fern Lake and Yost Lake trailheads, which are both beautiful, are less than 2 miles down the route.
