Built for the 1960s

After dispersed camping, we looked forward to full service. The sites are narrow and not very deep. They seem to only have a couple of pull throughs for over 38 ft rigs. They only offer 30 amp and don’t want you to use A/C and at $45, that seems odd. They do not offer much beyond what the USFS campgrounds all around this place offer at $15 cheaper. Lots of updating needed to make it workable. Would be good for a quick stopover enroute to someplace else. PS. Thanks to employee Bill for being helpful and letting us borrow a hose.

Short stop

We rolled in just for the night. Didn’t enjoy all that this place has to offer, but we walked around and will return. Staff is very friendly and accommodating since we rolled in on a Saturday in august. They found a great end spot for us. The spots very in size and shape, and are tight. Oh, review campground roads are very poorly marked and confusing. The store had all the basics. Walk to beach was not bad either. Plan on coming back, but would need to stay on southwest of the campground, as those sites seem best

Nice RV Park

Right near June Lake. Very large place with a general store, coin op showers, bathrooms... pretty standard as far as large RV parks go. The amenities were nice and pretty well kept. Quite busy with lots of traffic coming in and out, as it was a busy summer month.

Frequently Asked Questions

What RV accommodations are available at Pine Cliff Resort?

Pine Cliff Resort provides RV accommodations with some limitations to consider. The resort offers 30-amp electrical hookups but restricts air conditioner usage despite the fee (approximately $45). Most sites are narrow and not particularly deep, which can be challenging for larger rigs. Only a few pull-through sites accommodate RVs over 38 feet. While the resort provides basic services, they don't offer the full amenities that some RVers might expect at this price point. For those with smaller rigs or who don't require extensive hookups, the proximity to June Lake can make this a worthwhile option.

How do Pine Cliff Resort camping options compare to Oh Ridge Campground?

Pine Cliff Resort differs from Oh Ridge Campground primarily in its amenities and setting. Pine Cliff offers more developed facilities including a general store, coin-operated showers, and propane service - conveniences not typically found at Oh Ridge. The resort's sites tend to be narrower and closer together, creating a more social but less spacious environment than Oh Ridge. Pine Cliff is privately managed with full services, while Oh Ridge is operated by the US Forest Service with more basic facilities. Both provide access to June Lake, though Pine Cliff is particularly noted for its convenient lake proximity.

What amenities and facilities are available at Pine Cliff Resort at Oh Ridge?

Pine Cliff Resort offers several convenient amenities for campers. The resort features a general store stocked with camping essentials, coin-operated showers ($1 for 5-7 minutes), restroom facilities, and propane service. Located close to June Lake, the resort provides easy lake access for recreation. The campground includes standard facilities expected at larger RV parks, with amenities that are generally well-maintained. Staff members are friendly and accommodating, particularly helpful during busy summer months when the resort experiences high traffic.

What activities and attractions are near Pine Cliff Resort at June Lake?

Pine Cliff Resort's prime location offers excellent access to outdoor recreation. June Lake itself is the main attraction, providing opportunities for swimming, fishing, and water activities just a short walking distance from the campground. The surrounding forest area offers hiking trails and nature exploration opportunities. The greater June Lake area features stunning alpine scenery with multiple lakes, mountain views, and outdoor adventures depending on the season. The natural beauty of the area makes it an ideal base for enjoying the Eastern Sierra region. Be sure to explore the surrounding landscape, as the area offers truly impressive views and recreational possibilities.
