Tight spaces but a beautiful vista

The sites are very tight. We had few neighbors the first night but when our neighbors arrived we lost our view and did listen to them all night by the fire. The man in charge was a bit gruff with us when we spoke with him about the tightness of our spot. He seemed very agitated and annoyed to even have to discuss it.

Immaculate grounds with beautiful views

We had a site next to the river. The grass was well maintained and the entire part was inviting looking. Our site had a small pebbled beach area. It was enjoyable to sit by the river and watch the sunset.

Convenient to Mt Adams

Electric sites are bunched up in the front and need alot of attention. There are few level spots and it’s difficult to tell where to park for most of the sites. There was alot of small bits of litter on our site and the adjoining sites. The back area that does not have electricity was spacious and much more appealing. Bathrooms were clean. The campground is very reasonably priced and convenient to Mt Adams.

Very small spaces with a sardine like feeling

Very nice front desk staff unfortunately the person who designed the campground tried to squeeze every possible inch into a site. Your neighbors look directly into your RV. It would be a great spot if they had about 1/3 rd less sites. Pricey for such small sites. We got a 50x20 site and we had to tip the picnic table on its side to fit in. Our rig fully expanded easily fits into a site much smaller than this.

Fountain of Youth

Great soaking pool with extended hours. Camp host Willy was great. It is next to the highway and train tracks but that didn’t bother us because the pool was so enjoyable. Meet some great fellow campers there that come back every year. The town of Thermopolis is fun also.

Vedauwoo, great boondocking I’m

Great rock formations, lots of climbers around. Very peaceful beautiful campground. Some highway noise but minimal.

Whitefish RV

Super nice owner and her son. Place is clean and well kept. Right off the center of town. Great pull through sites.

Sinks Canyon

Great alternative to Popo Agie state park just a mile up the road. We have a 24 ft class C and there were multiple sites that accommodated us. 2 trail heads in the campground and a bridge over the waterway, which is accessible.
