The Meadows.

We stayed in the upper level “The meadows” it was nice and relaxing, each site had a mature tree for shade, there were times when the sun was high that we needed to rely on a canopy, but over all excellent and quiet!. The pool was great and the staff was great! There was security that made rounds throughout the weekend. We went to check out the lower level campsites and they had much more shady areas, but also a bit more busy, with friendly folks who like to be a bit more social. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Get A Water View Site!

We went here in 2020 so the amenities were closed and I cannot review that.

The road to get to our water view site (69) was narrow and tricky with the camper but it was worth it for that peaceful view!

There was one night where a bunch of rowdy folks camped and threw their beer cans and trash in the river. We kept seeing it float by. I wasn't a fan of that but they left the next day so most nights were peaceful, calm and you could hear the river.

If you pick the right weekend, it can be peaceful

We had a river front site (63) and the river sites are AMAZING! The tubing is obviously fun and this campground has tree cover unlike anything I’ve ever seen!

When we first arrived Friday, our site didn’t happen to have any campers around us but Saturday night we did have some directly next to us and they played music inconsiderably loud.
The management and staff were nice but they also had little patience it seemed. Also the clubhouse and surrounding structures are falling apart and make the site look old and unkept. It needs to be cleaner is my only complaint.
