Hatfield City Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Hatfield City Park sits within the town limits of New Richmond, Wisconsin, close to Highway 64, a busy road that runs directly alongside the campground. That proximity means road noise is a consistent presence, something worth factoring in for light sleepers. The campground provides full hookups including electric, water, and sewer, along with a dump station, drinking water, and restrooms, making it a functional overnight stop for RVers moving through the region.

The layout includes 20 RV sites, 10 of which are pull-through. Sites run large, and the campground is noted as big-rig friendly. Dave T. sums up the practical picture: "Water fill, dump station, bathrooms, bike & hiking trails." Those trails give campers a reason to stretch their legs without leaving the park. The campground tends to stay uncrowded, which makes it a workable base for a night or two rather than a destination stay.

Campers passing through western Wisconsin on a longer route will find several other options in the area. River's Edge Campground and Apple River Family Campground both sit a few miles west, while Willow River State Park Campground offers a different experience to the southwest. Hatfield City Park makes the most sense for RV travelers who need full hookups, a clean facility, and a straightforward in-town stop without a lot of setup.

Hatfield on Lake Arbutus

I have been going to this campground my entire life. It has always been so much fun camping there and getting to go out on the lake. Pretty remote from any major cities is one thing that i love about it. That and the hot days cooled off by the water and the occasional ice cream. Very friendly people and most of the time a uncrowded lake to have fun with the whole family.
