Easy off the highway stopover

This was a nice place to stop for a few days on my drive west into Ohio. I knew nothing about the campground prior to this visit. My next time I will stay in camping area B or C now that I have seen the layout. There is no hiking trail to the lake unless you use a horse trail which I did. If you…

Nice little State Park

Tomlinson Run is a small state park situated in the northern panhandle of West Virginia nestled between eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. Plenty of things to do there including but not limited to…. Mini golf, hiking trails, biking, swimming, fishing, paddle boats, parks for the kids, and of…

Campervan with kids

Many many unlevel spots in nonelectric sites. Only one playground in full hookup RV area, hard to get to. Beach access hike is at least 1.7 miles walk from loop C. You have to drive to many of the hikes and beach especially if you have children. Positives are it's very quiet. You don't see many…

Lovely, wooded campground and park

We enjoyed our three-day stay at Raccoon Street State Park in Pennsylvania. We used it as a jumping off point to explore Pittsburgh.

The campground is large and wooded, with good-sized sites. There are five different loops, so campsites are well-spread out throughout the area. One tip: each loop…

Best Campground Around!

WTTR is our families favorite place to be during camping season in Ohio. It has everything you can imagine, it’s safe and CLEAN! We couldn’t recommend a resort more than this one.

Hidden gem next to McConnell's Mill State Park

Love this small campground. We chose one of two primitive sites next to a small creek. Apart from the campers above us on top of the hill, we were a few hundred feet from the other primitive sites. Despite being just a minutes walk from our truck, we felt incredibly secluded. Being so far away,…

Not that great

It was one of the worst camping experiences I’ve had. I was traveling and I called ahead and paid for my site before arriving. Upon arrival the people at the site next to us had their two tents set up on our site, and they were not there. After contacting the campground host and about an hour and…

Okay place to stay

As other reviewers have said, many of the campsites were not level, we were hoping that was only an issue with the RV sites and we'd be okay at the tent sites, but our spot, 122, was on a slope. We set up with our heads at the highest point of the slope and ended up having our sleeping mats slip…

Relaxing BUT you can hear gunshots all day until 11pm

Gun range 5 mins away or so. Bees are ridiculous.(they love sugar) oh yeah, Harvest Spiders all over the place so be cautious. Bathrooms are disgusting but they have toilet paper 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Normal Camping Bugs also. So bring big spray. Picnic Tables ,Fire pits, paved.

Clean after yourself! …

Nice Stay with Lots of Animals!

We stayed here overnight on a trip to Pittsburgh. Tent sites were nicely spaced apart, but were often on inclines, like ours. We saw deer and turkeys, so be on the lookout for lots of animals! Bathrooms were fairly clean! Fun hiking to mineral springs!

Cozy spot

Very nice and secluded campsite, with a very nice view of the pond. You can definitely tell that there’s been some people here before because they’ve left some trash but overall it’s a very nice spot where are you just pull in with your vehicle and set up your own campsite.

Our go-to spot

This has been our go-to spot for 10 years now. We're started in a tent, moved to a pop-up, and now we're in a pull behind travel-trailer. It's gotten more crowded since they renovated, so may branch out and look elsewhere, but it's still a great spot.
