## Overview

Boardman Group Campground is located about 8 miles east of the Verlot Public Service Center along scenic Mountain Loop Scenic Byway through Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The campground is located on the banks of the tranquil Stillaguamish River, in close proximity to several wilderness areas.

## Recreation

In addition to being a prime location for hiking, fishing, picnicking and horseback riding in summer and early fall, visitors can take advantage of skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.   
  
Anglers enjoy fishing from the gently-flowing Stillaguamish River, which sustains populations chinook, coho, chum, pink and sockeye salmon, steelhead trout, sea-run cutthroat and bull trout.

## Facilities

The campground offers just one site, making it a perfect setting for groups of up to 35 people. RVs are welcome. A small amount of traffic noise from the adjacent highway can be heard, but the river helps mask it.   
  
The site is equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. Vault toilets are available, but there is no drinking water. Visitors must bring their own supply.

## Natural Features

The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest offers visitors the chance to explore the region's rugged peaks, scenic rivers, and interesting wildlife within the forest and surrounding designated wilderness areas.   
  
Visitors will find unique ecosystems along the banks of the Stillaguamish River. Old-growth forests of cedar, fir and hemlock line the wide, gently-flowing river and tower over trails winding through moss-covered rocks.   
  
On a clear day visitors will see Mt. Baker, the most prominent feature of the Mt. Baker Wilderness Area. Rising to an elevation of 10,781 feet, the active volcano is perpetually snow-capped and mantled with an extensive network of creeping glaciers. Mt. Baker's summit, Grant Peak, is a 1,300-foot-deep mound of ice, which hides a massive volcanic crater.   
  
Undeveloped wilderness, clean streams and diverse forests provide important habitat for wildlife, including birds, amphibians, reptiles and more rare species such as lynx, moose, wolves, and wolverine. Grizzly bear sightings have been confirmed in the Cascade region, though black bears are more common.

This small property supplies everything you could want for your glamping experience or for your base camp to explore the incredible Cascade Mountains. Whitewater the wild and scenic Cascade River and walk home to your base in the forest, ready for your campfire with s'mores and star gazing far from the lights of town.

This little gem has two tiny homes. One home supplies the outdoor kitchen and contains the solar powered electrical system, fridge, shower (on-demand water heater), toilet and running potable water. The second home is a bunkhouse with 4 twin bunk beds and a loft with a queen. The bunk house also has room for indoor games and room for 6 at dinner.

Next to the property is a homemade play area with boardwalks and climbing trees as well as swings! Plenty of room for extra vehicles or to set up tents.

Linens are not provided. Please plan to bring your own sheets or sleeping bags as well as towels.



Cascade River Base Camp

5 acres of land situated just above the Skykomish river. RV/Camper/Van camping only. 



Eagles Reach

The best thing about this camping spot are the sounds of nature as you relax on the patio or fall asleep in your tent.  There are owls, bullfrogs, and cicadas, and sounds of running water!

Adjacent to the camping site just 30 steps away is a pond with ducks, geese, bass, frogs, cattails, lily pads, and lots of ducklings and goslings in the spring time.  It is a vibrant wetland with all of the pond life in a beautiful forest setting filled with mossy green colors.

Behind the campsite is a babbling seasonal creek, which swells up to a torrent after the rains, and slows down to a trickle during the summer time.

We are in the process of building a trail network on the back 40 acres, including a trail to a hidden waterfall.

You can play frisbee golf on the back 40 acres (you should bring your own game supplies). 

We have a 2nd Tentrr Signature Site nearby -- Fern Gully, Site #1 -- so if a family or friends want to rent both tents you can do so if both calendars are open.

We also have a wedding venue on the property and take bookings for weddings, family reunions, or special events.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

WTA Pro Tip: This is a popular area for camping. On a sunny weekend, start early to allow plenty of time to find a site. Note that Gothic Basin is an extremely fragile area, so be sure that you're camping on an established site or sturdy surface, like rock or dirt, and avoid camping in meadows or grasses, as this can damage the landscape. You’ll also want a bear can, as there are no trees in Gothic Basin suitable for a bear line.

## Overview

Situated on the banks of Buck Creek in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Buck Creek campground offers stunning scenery and access to numerous recreational activities popular in the Northern Cascade Range in Washington.  
  
Scattered beneath a towering canopy of old-growth forest, the sites in this campground are secluded and within walking distance to the waterfront, making it an ideal setting for visitors wanting to camp in a private, rustic setting.

The area surrounding this campground is prime location for hiking, fishing and picnicking in summer and early fall.  
  
Hikers and backpackers are especially fortunate to have access to a variety of spectacular trails near the campground and in the surrounding areas.  
  
Several trailheads are located in the vicinity of Buck Creek campground, including Huckleberry Creek Trail. This lesser-known trail starts starts on an old spur road in second growth timber and follows Huckleberry Creek to the northeast boundary of Mt. Rainier National Park. For those looking for a more strenuous hike, the Lake James Trail continues into the park.

Woodlands at Lake Stickney

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Our eco-friendly outdoor bathhouse has a composting toilet that traps the methane gas that feeds the cook burner in the kitchen. There's a bidet toilet seat and no toilet paper (clean cloths are available for use). The bathhouse has a clawfoot tub for showers or soaking. You can also relax by the pond and pick berries and fruit when they're in season. Our alpacas, sheep and mini-mare are curious and friendly.

## Overview

Gold Basin Group Campground sits near the banks of the tranquil South Fork of the Stillaguamish River, close to several wilderness areas and hiking trails, offering visitors opportunities to experience both the serene and wild aspects of the Cascade region.   
  
Gold Basin is the largest campground on the Mountain Loop Highway and offers the most developed and accessible camping experience.

## Recreation

In addition to being a prime location for hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking and horseback riding in summer and early fall, Gold Basin offers excellent skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.  
  
A large, open field offers opportunities for sports and group activities.  
  
For visitors wanting to learn more about the natural and cultural history of the area, the Gold Basin Mill Pond interpretive trail is located across the street from the campground. This interpretive site includes a short, barrier-free trail that passes by mill relics and ends on a floating viewpoint. Interpretive signs discuss the history of the mill and the wildlife in the area.

This is a large campground with 99 reservable sites, including one large group site that can accommodate up to 75 guests.  
  
Picnic areas, trails and open spaces, along with the conveniences of firewood, drinking water, showers and flush toilets, give visitors the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while still having many of the conveniences of home.

Located inside the gated Cascade River Park, this little space is semi private and ready to make camp. Enjoy extra protection for your tents, outdoor sleeping pads or stash your bikes under a 12'x36' metal canopy. Bring your RV, car camping set or just stretch out under the stars! There's even a protected area for your campfire. (Always check for burn bans)



The extraordinary views of the Cascade Mountains surround this leveled camping area. Bring your generator, propane grill or fire ring and get the reunion started right. There is a drive to get to a porta potty or restroom with sink and flush toilets.

## Overview

Clear Creek Campground is located just off the Mountain Loop Highway in the stunning Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.  
  
Nestled in a towering canopy of fir trees, this campground offers plenty of open spaces, making it perfect for small groups and family excursions.  
  
Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest sits on the west side of the Cascades in Washington, showcasing glacier-covered peaks, wide mountain meadows and old-growth forests, rich in history and outdoor opportunities.

## Recreation

The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest boasts 1,500 miles of trails. From smooth paths meandering through deep quiet forests to challenging ascents up boulder-studded mountains, opportunities abound for every skill level. Access to biking, rafting and fishing is also readily available.  
  
The nearby Frog Lake Trail is a short nature hike, climbing steadily up the side of the hill, with views of Clear Creek far below. The trail comes out at the road after nearly a mile, then makes a sharp turn back toward the lake, passing through dense forest, and eventually ending at the 1.5-acre Frog Lake.  
  
Old Sauk Trail winds along the banks of the Sauk River, providing a pleasant hike amongst the wildlife and waterfowl that frequent the area.

Clear Creek Campground

Hollyhock Farm is a diverse family farm on the hills of the Snoqualmie Valley. We raise a variety of animals using ethical methods that work with nature for the health of our farm and surrounding forest lands. We offer two campsites, as well as a tiny cabin.

All of our listings have a toilet available for use, trash disposal on site, potable water, and campfires are permitted (outside of burn bans.

There is an old railroad grade walking/biking trail nearby that runs up and down the length of the Snoqualmie valley. The Snoqualmie river also offers boating, floating, and swimming opportunities. The town of Duvall is 5min away and has restaurants, shopping, and a micro brewery.
