you can still hear road noise from the main road, and barking dogs in the morning from a nearby dog sanctuary. Beautiful rhododendron brush covers the space between sites.
LegendWe were coming off Orcas Island on a later ferry and wanted a “known” place to stay. This is a shared KOA/Thousand Trails site. It is situated amongst large Cedars so sites are pretty dark. Gravel roads and sites. Older bathrooms that don’t seem too clean. KOA amenities like a pool/hot tub, kids playground and dog area. Just feels tired and not too upscale. If it were full it would feel crowded. Updated from 3 to 4 stars. There is a second bathroom building which is much newer and has modern showers and fixtures. It also seemed cleaner.

ScoutThis rv resort was way better than we were expecting, as a last minute add on. Massive dog park, indoor pool and fire areas, putt putt, pickleball, nature walking trails, kids outdoor play area, sun deck, and I’m sure there is more we haven’t gotten to see! Big spacious spots. About 25 mins from skagit speedway. Hope to come stay here again in the future!
GuideThe sites are up the bluff from the beach/day use. They are clean and spacious. There’s a trail that takes you to the beach but part of it in not accessible. I used the trail that went from the group camp down to day use. The day use parking is really big and has two different sets of restrooms. We parked our van there and spent the entire day on the beach in view of the van. It was great!

TravelerOur first visit. We had a beautiful group site near center. Lots of room and fairly private. Fire pits, tent boxes clean and picnoc tables in good shape. Easy access Pit bathrooms, trails and day ise lake area. We did have a bear wonder by.. but didnt stay long. The trees have larve enough canopy thelat they shelter a bit from the rain.
