LegendCheck in was good. Make sure if you can find a spot to check in. Go to the store/ check in office. The trick is turn left across the road, into the signs that say private property, do not enter. No signs indicate that this Rainforest Resort...I think this needs to be changed in my opinion. The sites are mixed of grass some gravel and some mix of each. The site was level, but the tongue in the back up site, needed to come up a few feet. See picture. We had lots of room until others showed up. A bit close then. No sewer, so plan for that. Good location. A hiking trail is right there next to the World's largest spruce tree. Walk from your site and get some nice time on the lake.
ScoutI arrived early in the day on a Tuesday (around noon) and had no trouble finding a spot to park my van. I love the trees, and the short walk to the water. I will be coming back here for sure!

LegendCheck in was weird...asked for directions to the site and she pointed to her left and said that way somewhere. Too funny, you had to be there. A woman of few words. This place is ok for the basics. Somewhere you can hook up and be gone. Nothing inviting to hang out here. If you back up to the trees, thats nice. This place is full of overgrowth. It needs a mowing and lots of TLC. For the rate, it is what you paid for. The site we had was level and the utilities worked well. If I could have reserved their ocean sites, we would have done that. I heard it was a year in advance. For the rate, hook up and leave everyday.
GuideWe are in Olympic NP ON 4th of July weekend and needed a place to spend the night. I’d almost pay money for this site, it’s very nice. As others have said, a gem. Easy, paved road all the way in. Overlooking the river, great white noise at night..
GuideThe site was large and had a couple of cool amenities. It was nice to have tables at each site, but the paving made staking a tent impossible. Additionally, it was 20 a night for a fairly middle of nowhere site. Saw a bear while visiting.
