TravelerThis is a big park that is part of Thousand Trails. No sales pitch to join, which was nice. Rangers were super nice. Bathrooms very new and clean. Lots of trees between sites. Hard to find one in the sun if that is what you are looking for. Looked like lots of long term campers. Very quiet. We enjoyed see the surrounding area - Beaver Lake Park, Carnation, Fall City. Didn't make it to Snoqualmie Falls, maybe next time.
TravelerMy wife and I have been living in our camper for a few years staying at upwards of around 20 different RV parks from coast to coast. Lake Sawyer RV resort has placed #1 on the worst parks we’ve encountered list. There’s actually no other parks in it’s class!
The manager is running the place in such a shady manner that one of the front desk ladies told me even she doesn’t agree with their business practices. It was a nightmare right out of the gate but luckily I have a backbone and don’t let people dig into my wallet or jerk me around so they figured out the hard way you can’t steal from everybody.
Watch for them to drag their feet on your long stay application so they can charge you a ridiculous nightly rate for their “deluxe site” which had broken electrical receptacles and cracked water pipes.
As soon as they do approve you, they’ll ask you to move to a different site. If you confront them about why they would put you in a daily site when they knew your intentions were to stay long term their excuse will be, “there was a mix up between different departments”. Departments 😂 it’s just 3 ladies working there!
They also tried to start my time the day before I got there and will write down your CC info without your consent.
They are one of the only rv parks in the greater Seattle area with vacancy and now you know why.
ScoutThis is very much an RV park and not really a campground. Seems like a clean little park, but right in the middle of Lynnwood, so if you are looking for a rural setting this isn't for you.
They offer weekly and monthly rentals, so this is more of a long-term sort of place.

The location is a bit remote hence very quiet. I like that it's only about 10-12 minutes to Port Townsend, a bustling everything-you-could-possibly want hip town. Perfect for my tastes and needs. I dry camp which costs $7.50/nt.

GuideThere aren’t many rv parks that are close (35ish mins) to Seattle but this is the best option. Office staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean, laundry is cheap ($1 wash), maintenance staff is constantly tending to the grounds, full hook ups, and cute (short) hiking paths surrounding the park. The lake is more of a murky pond and the geese are happy residents here so expect a lot of goose poop at any spot near the water. There’s also no dog park.
LegendWonderful RV park for long term Escapee-ers or members just passing through. We stopped here for a night, arriving on the weekend with no prior reservations or contact with them. They make it easy for you to self register when they're closed on weekends, just go up to the office and take one of their welcome packets.
We stayed in a dry camp site for only $7.50, and paid $5 for the dump (dump is only for members as well). FHU sites are around $33 depending on in-season/off-season, but I don't know how we would have figured out which sites were available. There are so many activities and amenities here for the long termers (I believe it's a 55+ park), I couldn't even list them all.
Showers and laundry were clean and efficient. There's a dog park and a dog walking path (there are signs everywhere about not letting your dog pee or poo on their nice plants). Cell service was good and they have good wifi as well. This would definitely be a spot we'd stop at again when we're in the area next.

ScoutWe picked tall chief because it was close to home for our first trip with new trailer, it was end of july 2020 online reservation were easy,got there and they were real nice and helpfull. Is thick trees and open spaces dudent give 5 stars because some of the full timers there space looks trashy!,and they need to clean up but everything else seemed good,if not a member of thousand trails or encore it can be expensive.
