At Dash Point State Park Campground, a camper noted, "This campground is remarkable in the privacy between each of the camping spots, the bird life, the wild and deep forest vibes, and the walking trails. The washroom and shower is kept clean, as is the rest of the campground."
What you should know
Site spacing varies: Some campgrounds offer more privacy than others. At Kitsap Memorial State Park Campground, "The camper spots are really close together. There is a big field to play ride bikes walk dog etc. The beach is really nice and nearby and at low tide is so peaceful to take a walk," writes Nicole R.
Jet noise: Military operations affect some locations. At Deception Pass State Park, "Crazy crowded and crazy loud with the military jets overhead (Naval Air Base nearby) – but beautiful none the less. Tips from RVers
Power limitations: Several campgrounds have electrical constraints. At Tall Chief Campground, "There are a few 50 amp sites but from what I saw they were all taken by RVers that are there on a more permanent basis. If you want/need one, you cannot get one."
Level sites: Fort Worden offers exceptional parking conditions. According to one reviewer, "Paved level sites and most have good separation." This eliminates the need for stabilizers or leveling blocks.
