Good Enough

A nice enough little spot near where we needed to be. Day trip to NE section of Olympic NP was doable. Day trip to Seattle would probably be doable as well. Nice area and small towns with good food and atmosphere. Park is small and sites are very close together. Modern sites are in the open right next to each other. Rustic sites are very shaded but still close together and gets load on weekends when it's full.

Facilities: Showers and bathrooms were nice, individual rooms for each bathroom and shower, most are code locked to prevent day use people hogging them

Cell Service: Good enough Verizon and T-mobile to work remotely

Starlink: While we didn't need to use it, the rustic (non-elec) sites are extremely shaded so no clear view for the dish; some modern sites would maybe work

Solar: Our site had a SW facing opening so we were able to grab some solar, but most other rustic sites are very shaded with very little to no sun; modern sites are open to the sky but solar is not needed there with an electric site

Nice little state park

This park is convenient for visiting the Kitsap Peninsula communities. It has a small beach with a beautiful view. The sites with hookups are good size — not too close together. The sites with no hookups are in dense trees and you can just see neighboring houses through the trees.

Good spot for a rest

Campground is pretty small but has everything you would need (bathrooms, showers, trash, firewood). Full hookup sites are very exposed. There are a handful of basic sites with decent privacy from trees but sites are close to each other. Was a perfectly fine spot for us to stop to rest for a night in our van.

Very nice smaller park

RV sites 1, 2, 4, 9, and 11 will be easier to back in to. The other full hook up sites are 90° approaches. Very nice park for playground and a very nice venue building. A lot of picnic tables in the open and in the shade of trees.
Small rocky beach only accessable when the is not to high.

Amazing view from the beach of the Olympic Mountains.

Water pressure is low, averaging just over 20psi.

SiteFull hookup sites.

Not coming back, but a cheap stop

It’s 9:30, and the full hookup sites are blaring “how to save a life” by the fray, two sites down there’s an odd couple with a trailer arguing over the generator. I can hear the crowd in the little cabins on the other side of the campground. There’s no privacy here. The sites are all right on top of each other. Just hope you get a day when the crowd is good. On the bright side, the rest of the sites are being considerate, it’s open in winter, they have showers, and there are three tent sites for $20/night. Ear plugs are of good use here. We are using it as a stop over on our way out to the other side of the peninsula.

Great property, but hookup spots are SUPER close

The property itself is great. There’s a playground and a couple large open fields for kids to play. Also really close to the water which is cool. The spots with hookups are REALLY close together though. This was our first time in a hookup spot so we were a bit surprised how close we were to our neighbors, but this could be typical, we’re not sure. We were in spot #4.

Beautiful Oasis

Small and quiet. Large picnic area with park for the kids. A short trail brings you to a beautiful ampitheater amongst the trees.

Liked everything except the spacing

The camper spots are really close together. There is a big field to play ride bikes walk dog etc . The beach is really nice and nearby and at low tide is so peaceful to take a walk. There’s group activities too which is great for the kids.

So close to home.

The camper spots are really close together. Our neighbors sewer hook up was right next to our camp fire pit. Kind of was a turn off at staying at that site again. On a good note they have a great big field to play games with the kids or dogs. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the park and walking down on the beach during low tide. I work close to the park so I went to work a few days we stayed at the campground and it was closer then driving home. It was such a great feeling to leave work to go camping for the night and relaxing. They do have buildings for events and a group camping.

Nice Hike and Bike

The hike and Bike area is not easily located because it is set apart from the other campsites.  Showers are included in the fee and restrooms are clean. Tent site includes a table and fire pit.  Campground is right on the water with a convenience store about a quarter mile away. Seems to be popular with day visitors.

crowded/no privacy

This campground is not a favorite of ours. The sites have very little privacy and the host was aggressive and unfriendly. We probably wouldn't stay here again. Too bad because it did have great views.
